PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Successfully managed the Engineering, Construction and Environmental operations of three major national Real Estate Investment firms. Hired and managed national Architectural and Engineering consultants. Identified and qualified Contractors, executed construction contracts, managed the RFP, RFQ and bidding process for major and lesser tier construction projects; Hired and managed third party inspection and quality control consultants. Managed new construction, tenant build out, and renovation of numerous professional and industrial facilities nationwide.
Managed the Architectural, Engineering and Construction operations of numerous complex and high profile and lower tier projects nationwide. At Atlanta Financial Center in Atlanta, GA, coordinated the complex design and construction of rail lines below building and parking structures.
Managed organization of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in the development, design and permitting of numerous new construction projects for commercial, industrial and residential developments.
Accomplished and managed the entitlements requirements for commercial, industrial and residential projects. Worked closely with permitting authorities to acquire favorable rulings and interpretations of codes and ordnances.
Developed standard procedures and practices for site Due Diligence inspections and Property Condition Surveys for three major national Real Estate Investment Firms. The results of these inspections and surveys were a major determining factor in investment decisions.
Turned around two Corp of Engineer Airfield Development Projects in the Middle East that were at a standstill due to poor Project Management and oversight. Working in a partnership manner with multi national contractors, I got the projects back on track for on time completion and within budget.

NuRock Construction, LLC: (current position)
Vice President, responsible for all new construction and renovation for medium size multi family developer. Also manage the major maintenance functions of managed properties. Develop budgets and schedules, manage the bid process and execute contracts. Manage the work of A&E firms, staff of Project managers and superintendents.
Lend Lease Real Estate Investment:
I served as the Vice President of Engineering, Construction and Environmental and supervised a staff of six engineers plus admin staff. I had nationwide responsibility for all Lend Lease Investments and performed senior project/construction management. My organization determined the status of such items as: design adequacy, code compliance, structural stability, constructability for new construction, type and adequacy of building systems, safety, construction budget and schedule review and approval, estimate of building systems operating cost, suitability of building envelope, roof, deferred maintenance and costs, etc. Reviewed and approved pay applications, reviewed and approved Change Orders, managed dispute resolution, etc.
MONY Real Estate Investment Management:
Served as Engineering Vice President. The duties, functions and organization were the same as those identified for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments above.
Six Continents Hotels:
Served as Director, Technical Services. I was responsible for the new construction and renovation of hotels nationwide. Hotel brands included Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and Inter Continental Hotels. Managed the Architectural and Engineering design and construction operations, Hired A&E firms and selected contractors. Developed and managed budgets and schedules.
GMH and Michaels Military Housing:
Served as Project Executive for RCI Army Housing Projects. RCI is a congressional program established to bring military housing up to standard. Multi Family projects involving demolition, new construction and renovation. Developed budgets and schedules and negotiated contracts. I had total responsibility for all operations, including construction, renovation, property maintenance, and leasing. We built or renovated over 3,000 homes.
