Round Table Pizza is the fifth largest pizza chain in the United States with over 500 restaurants in eight western states and five foreign countries. As Director of Construction, my responsibilities encompassed the design, construction and facilities maintenance of the Corporate owned properties.

Accomplishments:
Direct staff of project managers responsible for the design and construction of over 25 new restaurants with a Capital budget of $20 million dollars.
Responsible for developing and maintaining store design standards and equipment specifications for over 500 Corporate and Franchisee owned restaurants.
Responsible for the development and procurement of cost effective equipment and store systems to reduce construction and operating costs.
Provide the design oversight and final approval of Franchisee projects, consisting of new store units, relocations and renovations.
Provide advice and guidance to Franchisee's in the construction process as they re-image existing units to support and comply with Corporate Minimum Facility requirements.
Work with the Director of Real Estate and Legal Counsel on the lease negotiations for new and existing units. This includes collaborating on Letters of Intent (LOI's), construction work letters, signage and associated lease exhibits.

Provided high level leadership, guidance, expertise and team building for the project management, design and construction of the Corporate and Retail Enterprise Capital programs.
As a member of the Branch Program Leadership Group, I provided direction for the planning, design and execution of the Retail Branch Network growth and development.
Provided the tactical leadership, oversight and management for the construction and relocation of our Executive Management to their new offices. The capital budget for this project was $11,000,000. The project was completed on time and within budget and for recognition of the successful completion of this project I received an Excellence in Service award from both the Office of the Chairman and from the office of the President.
Conceptualized and built an in-house and a consultant based project management team to perform the construction of new branches, relocations and renovations for the Retail branches west of the Mississippi River. Under my direction 10 project managers, along with the team of architects, engineers, consultants and contractors successfully completed the projects on time, within budget and quality to meet corporate standards and expectations.
Instituted Requests for Proposals (RFIs) for general contractors, signage, furniture and fixture vendors. This effort required a thorough review of our existing processes and the creation of new procedures. These RFP's resulted in substantial cost savings to the Company.
Provided the oversight for the design and construction of the West Coast Flagship Branch in San Francisco. The capital expenditures budget for this project was $1,254,000. The project was completed in a very tight timeline, within budget and far exceeded Management's expectations.
Partnered with the Retail Enterprise Group in developing, maintaining and appropriately allocating the overall capital plan.
