EPC Project Manager/Associate in the Houston Design-Build Division. I moved to the Houston Regional office and was part of a team that grew the Construction/Design Build group from two full time employees to 28 full-time employees. I had the responsibility of directing complex projects from design stage to fully operational status, working with all personnel levels, including architects, engineers, inspectors and upper management. Responsibilities were as follows: Negotiated contracts and maintained clear lines of communication between the Client representatives and the design & construction personnel. Maintained contractual relationships between the Client representatives and Burns & McDonnell. Prepared project risk assessment and budgets. Developed the Responsibility Matrix, coordinated the selection of site project personnel and established goals for the project team. Reviewed and approved equipment and construction bid evaluation packages and recommended contract awards. Interfaced with Owner on all project related issues. Wrote and issued contracts and purchase orders, including all change orders. Reviewed contractor's monthly invoices with team's input & submitted to Owner for processing. Responsible for company invoices as well as the management of receivables, payables and detailed job cost reporting.

As Regional Manager, I supervised construction work in 14 states, office set-ups, hiring of employees, customer service calls and job estimations. Seabees Training Facilities-Port Hueneme, California Construction Site Project Manager for design-build services for training facilities at Port Hueneme, California. The project included three separate training facilities including a 2,800 sq ft rifle range instruction building, a 10,500 sq ft headquarters building for Naval Construction Training Command, and a 15,500 sq ft classroom instruction building. The project features "Smart Classroom" design.
1998 - 2005 MIW OPS Support Facility Naval Station Ingleside Construction Project Manager for design-build services for Administrative and Library facilities. The project included two separate facilities, a 68,500 sq ft administration building and a 30,000 sq ft library/classroom instruction building.
Replacement of Control Towers Cabaniss and Waldron Field, NAVSTA-CC Construction Project Manager for design-build services for two control towers. The project featured concrete tilt-wall panels with tower cab built on the ground and erected after wall panels were in place.
