Objective : March 31, 2010
To: Human Resource Director

Over the years of working in the heavy industrial construction industry I have realized the true importance of Safety and Quality. A successful project is always determined by how good a Safety and Quality program has been enforced throughout.
In my 36 year career in the business I have worked my way through Education, the Trades into Management of Quality and Project. I have written several Quality Control Manuals as well as many procedures related to safety and different disciplines in mechanical, pressure vessels, boilers and fuel and gas lines. As Project Manager in Wisconsin I was responsible for an entire project constructing a jet fuel storage facility. Shell Oil supplied guidelines for construction and commissioning and I was responsible for all aspects of the project as sole representative for the company. I was responsible for Safety, Quality, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and all documentation for start up and commissioning. I assembled all turn over packages.
As Quality Assurance Manager in Terre Haute, Indiana, I was responsible for all activities for the entire project. I reviewed all procedures from excavation to final turnover of the facility. This included all procedures for gas blows and steam blows for commissioning of GE 7FAs and D-11 GE steam turbine.
I have been involved in writing and qualifying hundreds of welding procedures to API, ASME and AWS standards for many companies.
As a Quality & Safety Engineer for Siemans Westinghouse, I worked in the field overseeing construction of gas fired power plants. I also performed duties as Site Auditor for several projects under construction reviewing all aspects of the projects including Safety, Quality, Procurement, Document Control, etc.
I have worked as a consultant for The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessels as a Welding Educator.
In closing, my background is diversified having worked for many years as a pipe fitter, ironworker and boiler maker. I have always felt very comfortable working in the field. I truly enjoy working as a Project Manager understanding all of the skill sets involved with producing a safe and reliable product.

Thank You for your consideration,
