Responsibilities: R&D high speed (10k.ft./min.) pilot tissue machine w/ Proctor & Gamble.
Accomplishments: Develop main assembly & water piping/spec. Designed $250K foot walk system
to OSHA spec. collaborating with engineers, operators & purchasing. Design doctors, save-all &
structural framework.
CRESSWOOD SHREDDING MACHINERY Cortland, IL 1994 to 1997
*Senior Mechanical Designer: wood / plastic scrap recycling capital equipment product
development.
Responsibilities: Oversee and support five person engineering team. Research, design and develop
product enhancements, new products, and support systems for product line and customer
location including material handling applications. Project management liaison between
manufacturing, marketing and service. Produce applicable presentation drawings for marketing,
sales and service. Maintain engineering database for technological product improvement.
Accomplishments: Team worked positive company culture through engineering driven directives.
Created complete BOMs, drawing packages and costing for 20-machine product line. Saved the
company my yearly salary implementing cost reduction program for over 100 machine parts.
Designed complete inventory purchasing, storage and retrieval systems. Developed nearly 200
installations, instructional and sales presentation drawings. Tracked and updated more than 1,200
purchased and manufactured components. Developed more than fifteen standard and numerous
custom options to each machine. Returned twice as a consulting engineer.

Accomplishments: Developed 35 complete prototype packaging machine lines with B.O.M.s and
drawing packages. R&D prototype capping machine adjustable for any size bottle. Invented
designs for difficult assemblies and mechanisms. Complete library and retrieval systems to
support manufacturing, and service. Presented over 50 marketing and installation proposal
drawings. Promoted 4 times in 4 years from Detailer to Sr. Designer returning twice for contract
