INDEPENDENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE 2009 to Present Tremcar and two other companies. Working as an independent sales representative selling into environmental, oil and gas industries.
GENERAL MANAGER 2007 to 2009Tremcar USA, Inc. and Tremlease, Inc., Strasburg, OH Manufacturing, sales and service for a major tank trailer manufacturer in North America.
Guided the new company from a service-based organization to a manufacturing company that produced DOT and ASME code products. Reduced labor hours by 24% and increased Revenues by 30% in the first twelve months. Instituted safety programs that reduced accident frequency and severity. As a result our compensation rating was lowered and saving of over $200,000 for the next three years and a credit of $171,000 was issued. Designed and Manufactured seven new products in one year while maintaining profitability. Initiated Continuous improvement and training in 5S, Point of use, welding, and many others. Identified critical processes and created checklists to ensure certain actions were taken. Opened two new markets for the company in oil/gas and environmental areas. Hired team in purchasing that reduced our costs so low that the company owners moved over 90% of the entire corporation purchases to our location. I negotiated a metal contract that saved the company over $1,800,000 in two years.

Led the turn around of the division Instituted safety programs, new tooling, improved work processes and upgraded the working environment that resulted in 14 months without a loss of time accident. Created new military part sales that resulted in a 5% increase in total revenue. Total parts sales increased over 100% in two years. Reduced inventory by 25% while increasing part sales. Recognized by Human Resources director as the location with the lowest personnel turnover in the company and for programs in building team spirit. VICE PRESIDENT of OPERATIONS Championed the turn around of an electronic manufacturer and distributor of DC controllers, regulators and meters for an alternative energy company. Revived an eight-year-old unprofitable electronic manufacturing business to profitability in one year by transforming the companys OEM sales focus to wholesale systems and retail sales. Switched manufacturing processes from line to cell and Commenced out-sourcing of products to other companies that could manufacture better products at less cost resulted in 50% more throughput and 37% reduction in costs. Built new business relationships in government, telecommunications, construction, and energy fields that resulted in major sales contracts that were 75% of all sales. Created one stop shop concept for wholesale buyers that enabled the company to sign twenty new retail dealers. Increased sales revenue over 500% in two years. Redesigned warehouse layout, eliminated all obsolete products and created purchasing criteria for inventory based on past sales. These improvements lowered operating costs by 40%. GENERAL MANAGER Managed the start-up and redesign of two metal fabrication and assembly plants and generated all sales. Spearheaded a 6-person engineering team that designed and installed the assembly lines for two manufacturing plants. Redesigned plant from one product line to five product lines. Updated training practices and focused the entire organization to be customer oriented. Completed first year of operation with one reportable accident. Developed two new products by working with customers. These products increased revenues, diversified the product line and created an even flow of products through the plant.
DIRECTOR OF PROCUREMENT Collaborated with CFO, two Division Presidents and CEO for Special Projects. Evaluated businesses for acquisition and development of innovative transportation and storage systems resulting in an additional $1 million in revenue the first year of operations Analyzed ROI and Implemented all major capital expenditures including new CNC fabrication machinery. Initiated vendor-training programs including painting, welding and assembly processes that improved quality, work environment and customer satisfaction. Lowered overall time needed to produce hardwood flooring by changing processes and shortening drying time. Created a new division from the ground up for the corporate leasing company.
