Perform field inspections, national and international, for structural sheeting, roof and wall
Work with vendors on sheet claims
Write detailed field reports
Interface with engineering for medications of structure
Detail and draft special details
Investigate, review, and process claims
Work with vendors and plant operations to improve product and correct problems
Warranty issues resolution of warranty issues with vendors
Direct quality control for plant, 5 inspector, AISC, reject materials, outside testing and shop inspection
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE (CIVILIAN / MILITARY):
1985-1986 - Zamil Steel, Damman, Saudi, Arabia Plant Manager of structural steel fabrication shop. Multi-national workforce, workforce reduction from 280 to 170 employees without reduction of tonnage. Project sizes to 4000 metric tons..
19831984 - Riverside Industries, Ogden, Utah - Plant Manger Power Tower Manufacturer
Plant operations included a 161,0000 sq. ft. manufacturing and galvanizing facility utilizing NC equipment and Hot Dip galvanizing facilities.
1980-1983 - Metallic Braden, Houston, Texas, Ft. Collins, Colorado - Plant Manager.
Plant operations consisted of a 120,000 sq ft Pre-engineered steel building plant
