EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
I began my career while still in my teens, building sets for Filmation Studios in Southern California and then entering into the architectural world I was responsible for design, managing and facilitating retail, airport concourse and healthcare construction projects. Since then I spent 25 years in the corporate sector, in executive and senior executive management positions with Phoenix-based Del Webb Corporation, a developer of active adult communities, and with Shea Homes active adult division, Trilogy, based in Scottsdale.
While with the Del Webb Corporation, I was responsible for P&L at the community level, and managed Land Development & Acquisition, Housing and Commercial construction operations, Sales and Design Studio Operations and Customer Service. During my tenure, I was tapped for the companys emerging leader program, training at sites throughout the nation, which prepared me for a senior executive position; I also a graduated from the Del Webb Leadership Institute.
At Shea Homes, in addition to overseeing 2,500 homes nationally and $300 million in direct housing operations at the companys eight communities in Arizona, California, Washington, and Florida, I also performed national oversight of all new programming and sales programs for the sustainable building program, product development, customer service, design studio, safety, and purchasing operations with a staff of over 300 employees and was an integral part of the senior executive team providing strategic insight and decision making for the divisions direction.
I am nearing the end of the process of earning a Masters of Public Administration in Construction Management degree from Northern Arizona University. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Management degree from the University of Phoenix, and an Associate of Arts in Architectural Technology degree from Los Angeles Pierce College.
I am a licensed general contractor (residential and commercial) in both Arizona and California. I am looking to transfer my executive experience and business acumen to a new industry which will set a new path and direction for me.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
ABCS EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION PROJECTS
Garay Residence, Los Angeles CA October 3, 2004 Piestawa Residence, Flagstaff AZ May 22, 2005
Shea Homes was contacted to participate in these two high-profile projects for ABCs Extreme Makeover: Home Edition reality show. I co-led both projects, which set new heights and trends for the program and were completed on time. These were volunteer projects for Shea Homes, and involved coordination with many of our trade partners, as well as donated time, resources and labor.
SHEA HOMES SUSTAINABLE BUILDING PRACTICES
I led all phases of the development of Shea Homes sustainable building practices for the Trilogy master planned communities. This was the genesis of the current "Superiology" program now used company-wide. The development of this program positioned Shea Homes as the first national home builder to adapt green building science practices and offer solar systems as a standard feature on every Trilogy home.
