Oversee 852 multifamily units, which include 400 conventional, 302 Affordable Project-Based Section 8/Tax credit units and 150 100% Tax Credit units. Supervise eight properties with 35 employees, which include Leasing Consultants, Maintenance Technicians, Maintenance Supervisors and Property Managers.
Manage eight budgets (totaling approximately $8 million dollars) and monitor spending for each site to ensure maximum profitability.
Work closely with the City of Chesapeake and the Faith-Based Community to operate a not-for-profit Neighborhood Network Center. The center offers an After School program and GED programs for adult residents.
As a result of negotiating the contract with the current Service Coordinator (Hope Charitable Services), the site was able to receive $60,000 in In-Kind-Gifts and a grant for $7,500 was approved by the City of Chesapeake.
