As the Project Overseer, monitored project schedules and disbursement of project funds on behalf of The Office of Community and Economic Development (OCED) Miami-Dade County, on the construction of the new Parrot Jungle and Gardens at Watson Island. The budget for the entire project is approximately thirty-five million dollars ($35M).

Construction Management and Inspection Services, MDWASD, Miami-Dade County, Florida, under five year I/E/I Improvement Program utilizing trenchless technology for repairs to the Miami-Dade Sanitary Sewer System and driven by an EPA Consent Decree. Project Managed several construction contracts on behalf of the client with a total value of approximately forty five million dollars ($45M).

Responsible for the design and performance of all technical, engineering and construction projects Responsibility was to ensure that quality works were completed in accordance with acceptable schedule requirements and at budgeted cost or better at average annual budget of $30M.

Liaise with consulting engineers, architects, clients, international funding agencies and other financial institutions administering projects undertaken by the company. Average annual budget of $20M.

Northern Allied Construction Company, Guyana, South America

In July 1989, was appointed Project Director with Northern Allied Construction Company to manage the Black Bush Polder Rehabilitation Project. Job cost was $15M; client government of Guyana/Interamerican Development Bank. Directly responsible for all aspects (administrative and engineering) of job.
Directly supervised project manager, quantity surveying consultants, office-engineering staff with a total number of approximately 150 employees. In May 1989, was appointed Project Director to oversee an IADB contract involving the construction of five elementary schools in rural districts. Responsibility included daily tracking of materials, labor, and equipment for each project site in addition to direction and coordination of specialist sub-contractors (re-bar and formwork placing, concrete placing, joinery subcontractors, finishers, etc.
Similar responsibilities with Point Lisas Development Cooperation involving the paving, construction and development of industrial port facilities.

Grafton Beach Hotel, Tobago, W.I.

Responsible for the construction of the Grafton Beach Hotel. Responsibilities included the supervision of 200 plus site employees, site supervisors, specialist sub-contractors, plant and machinery; coordination of all structural, architectural, plumbing and electrical details from consultants to site personnel. Liaison with client and funding agency on budgeting and scheduling. Liaison with statutory agencies for essential services: water, sewerage, electricity, and telephone, gas from application and approval stages to supervision of installation. Directly responsible for sourcing and purchasing of local and overseas materials for finishes to the hotel. The final cost of this 121-room facility was $13M.
