Assisted Living Facility; Aventura, Florida 6/99 to 5/00 $14 million owners representative/construction manager for the construction of a 195-unit Assisted-Living Facility.
One East Fourteenth Place Condominiums; Chicago, Illinois 4/98 to 5/00 $15.5 million construction management assignment for the construction of a seventeen story, 96 unit condominium development including 4 levels of raised parking. Provided extensive pre-construction services to reduce the overall budget and assisted the owner in developing the mechanical design for the project.
Client Confidential; Aurora, Illinois 9/97 to 6/98 Provided pre-construction feasibility and design analysis for a 750,000 S.F., 50-acre, corporate office, warehousing, and manufacturing facility. Developed all Requests for Proposals, evaluated and made final recommendations to ownership for the required design, warehousing, manufacturing, specialized plant, and real estate consultants. Lead the pre-construction activities, coordinated all the various components of the feasibility study including developing a multiphased design and implementation plan in addition to providing a capital budget and cash flow analysis. Coordinated and prepared the final documentation for the feasibility study. Project put on hold pending board of director approval. Budget $190 million.
The Sterling; Chicago, Illinois 9/98 to 2/00 Selected as Owners Representative to provide pre-construction and construction services for a 47 story 496 unit rental apartment, retail and 500 car parking structure development.
Inter Parking Rush, Ohio, and Wabash Parking Structure; Chicago, Illinois 4/98 to 7/99 Provided construction management services for a 900 car 12 level parking structure in the heart of the expanding Michigan Ave. retail area of Chicago. Project budget $17,500,000.
Holiday Inn International Hotel; Rosemont, Illinois 10/97 to 8/00 $16,000,000, 12 story, 240 room hotel expansion and renovation of the existing 500 room hotel. This property involved an extensive pre-construction process which included pre-permitting and approvals from the FAA and local municipalities due to its proximity to the runways at OHare International Airport.
Radisson Hotel; Arlington Heights, Illinois 6/98 to 4/00 $5,500,000 6 story, 104 room hotel addition and extensive exterior improvements to the existing hotel faade.
Inter Parking Jackson and Wells Parking Structure; Chicago, Illinois 2/97 to 1/97 Provided construction management services on a 833 car 11 story highly automated self park parking structure. This project was located between two 1920 vintage multilevel structures, the Chicago elevated L tracks and a high voltage (12KVA) power feeder. Project budget $12,000,000. Completed under budget and on-time.
University of Illinois Wood Street Parking Structure; Chicago, Illinois 1/96 to 7/97 $12,000,000 12 level, 1080 car, architectural pre-cast clad parking structure addition.
Metropolitan Fiber Systems Intelenet, Inc.; National Assignment 3/94 to 1/98 Vice President on a Multi-City expansion project to coordinate multiple sites on an on-going basis. Involved in every aspect of the delivery process from site selection through testing, startup and completion. Administered and setup procurement through nationally negotiated purchase agreements. Introduced state of the art convection cooling systems to the U.S. on several projects in Dallas, Miami, Buffalo, San Francisco and Seattle. Additional sites included Toronto, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Houston, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Dalls, ElPaso and San Antonio.
Metropolitan Fiber Systems Intelenet Inc.; Dallas, Texas 3/94 to 8/94 Senior Project Manager for a $3.5 million local/long distance telecommunications fibernet switching site. This site was the first site in the USA to have Ericson Communications Telecool system installed. This site was subsequently expanded to over 100,000 s.f. including a National Control Center and Customer Service Support Facility.
Westport Plaza Redevelopment; 8/94 to 8/96 Senior Project Manager for a complex multi-phased $14 million modernization of a mixed-use development of 2 hotels, commercial/retail buildings; 5 office buildings; 2 parking structures; outdoor plaza and parking lots.
Metropolitan Fiber Systems Intelenet, Inc.; Chicago, Illinois 10/93 to 3/94 Senior Project Manager for a prototype $3 million local/long distance telecommunications fibernet switching site; prototype for national agreement consisting of 20 sites.
Centennial Center Office Renovation; Schaumburg, Illinois 4/92 to 10/93 Project Manager for $5.2 million renovation of all public areas and building systems in this 13 story office building. Also included build-out of 76,000 s.f. of tenant space, A.D.A. compliance modifications, and expansion of existing on-grade parking.
Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers; Chicago, Illinois 6/91 to 4/92 $180 million, 1200 room convention hotel. Coordinated pre-development starting in 1988. Assisted in schematic design and document preparation used for procurement of capital funding. Directed activities of outside consultants from initial selection through conceptual and schematic design phases. Oversaw final project completion, coordinating all subcontractors and furniture, fixture, and equipment vendors.
Rivercrest and Days Inn Hotel; Crestwood, Illinois 7/89 to 6/91 $11 million, 114 acre retail development including 130 room hotel and 350,000 s.f. of retail space. Directed project form preplanning through infrastructure and final occupancy.

Commerce Plaza Office Center Renovation; Oak Brook, Illinois 12/86 to 10/88 $14 million redevelopment project of three seven-story buildings: lobbies, elevator (upgrade group controllers and cabs), public areas, code compliance upgrade, three-level garage with 475-car capacity, and a 13,000 s.f. lower level renovation. Developed preliminary cost analysis using only schematic design documents. Coordinated design development process, interfacing with owner to meet budget goals through value engineering, scheduling, and phasing of work. Expedited preparation of construction documents which included code and life-safety updates. Finalized purchasing agreements for all materials. Provided on-site management.
Commerce Center; Naperville, Illinois 11/85 to 12/86 $67 million, 105,000 s.f. office structure; pre-construction, construction and tenant build-out services. Directed all base building field operations, completing the project two months ahead of schedule and 10% under budget.
Gateway IV Office Building; Chicago, Illinois 1/81 to 11/85 $60 million, 1.2 million s.f., 22 story office complex constructed on Union Station air rights. Coordinated, expedited, monitored, and directed field forces and construction activities for core and shell in accordance with Project Manager and General Superintendent. Managed all tenant development.
Childrens Memorial Hospital; Chicago, Illinois 3/80 to 8/81 $35 million, three phase renovation and expansion: building of diagnostic and treatment facility, expansion of bed tower by six floors, construction of underground tunnel to connect existing building and annex, and construction of receiving, purchasing, and storage center. Synchronized construction schedules and interfaced with Owner, Architect, Project Manager, and affiliated trades people.
