$192 million, In-Line Baggage Handling System Upgrade, North Terminal, Los Angeles International Airport
Project Engineer. Project was to replace/modify the existing outbound Baggage Handling System (BHS) with new in-line outbound BHS that integrates with new Explosion Detection Systems (EDS) machines and associated equipment in Terminals 1-3 at LAX. The scope of the project includes extensive phased development and staged integration of multiple existing and new baggage conveyance systems, monitoring and control systems. Responsibilities include assisting several Construction Managers and Program Manager with all documentation including the processing of RFIs, Submittals, Change Orders, update drawings, confirm contractors record drawings and technical specifications. Preside over Safety Focus team for the project. Coordinate testing of sub-systems with LAWA personnel and outside agencies.

Assist several Construction Managers and Program Managers with all documentation including the processing of RFIs, Change Orders, Cost Control and Submittals using Expedition tracking system for the Los Angeles Unified School District Facilities Services District H project. Conduct Job Start Meetings from beginning of Construction to Closeout. Mr. Goldfarb was in charge of the training of new personnel in the use of Expedition. Responsibilities included general office management and all facets of documentation control.

preparation of the contractors submittal list for the first phase construction project. Responsible for processing all RFIs and Submittals using Expedition tracking software system. Reviewed technical specs and contract and how they relate to submittal list and drawings. Researched information for trailer setup and office leasing space. Setup and scheduled meetings for Program manager and client. Responsibility for general office management which include inventory of office supplies/equipment. Documentation control using CSI filing system. Setup initial spreadsheet for vendors and other budget requirements.
