Provided the leadership and management to a team of project managers, estimators, professional technicians and interns at a facility of 9.4 million square feet of floor area comprised of over 120 buildings. Initiated, implemented and managed service contracts with outsourced contractors and design professionals who partnered with team members to provide planning, design, cost estimates, and construction services for renovations as requested by customers and administration on and off campus. Facilitated capital construction programming for projects. Coordinated construction and renovation with facilities operations including maintenance, custodial, grounds and engineering. Additional responsibilities included the development and management of project financial budgets, the management of departmental staff and budgets, and the development of departmental policies and procedures to assure compliance with University Policies and Procedures. Replacement of a Cedar Shake Roof on the historic Charles L. Freer House. Design is complete and construction is out for bid. Budget $625,000 Estimated Completion 2010
Renovation of the University Athletic Training Facility including the addition of plunge pools at the Matthaei Athletic Complex. Budget $240,000 Completed July 2009
Revised bid and award processes for time and material contracts from annual methods with values of $150,000 to five year revolving contracts with values starting at $500,000. This change reduced costs for Facilities, Purchasing, and University Administration

Managed the day-to-day operations of the reimbursable construction and project management team.
