A Brief Summary of Projects and Accomplishments
Removal of one 40 MVA transformer and installation of one 300 MVA transformer including upgrading of all 138kV / 345kV switches, insulators, bus work, internal control wiring, and components. $26 million Removal of nine 34kV OCB (oil circuit breakers) and installation of nine SF6 34kV GCB (gas circuit breakers). $12 million Installation of new 300 MVA transformer, 345kV bus structure, 345kV insulators/bus. $11 million Installation and maintenance on 480 volt to 12kV at numerous DC (distribution centers), TSS (transmission substations), and TDC (transmission distribution centers). Xcel Southwest Minnesota Transmission System Upgrade Project. This project included construction on 140 combined miles of 115 kV single circuit and 345/161 kV double and single circuit line on new steel pole construction. Installation of 115kV single conductor transmission line across operating refinery and installation of new greenfield substation $168 million Electrical Construction Management of 5 new Menards Home Improvement stores throughout Northern Illinois. Electrical Package - $1.2 million per store. Electrical Construction Management of 1 million square foot retrofit to existing Panasonic Factory over to Fisher Nuts processing, storage, shipping and corporate offices in Elgin, Illinois.
