Ensure that all necessary controls and administration requirements are in place at all times, formulate, write and implement practices and procedures for various projects, procurement documentation, capital reports, change management procedures, cash flow projections, invoice control, contracts, etc. clearly identifying goals, tasks, and assignments to meet the projects objectives;
Comprehensive knowledge of construction related processes, including developing and maintaining funding requirements, project plans, schedules, budgets, permits, conduct project reviews, resolve issues and get input of team members to ensure that the documents are professionally and comprehensively planned, detailed and executed to the clients standards and requirements;
Lead construction effort with utility companies and local authorities;
Formulate construction strategies and plans;
Review, manage and monitor design documents for completeness; review and approval of bid packages, scopes of work and value engineering proposals; negotiate and manage all contracts/subcontracts and changes orders; review and approve all cost forecasts, invoices, payment applications, quality of workmanship, close out, and other pertinent documentation;
Oversight of construction including safety requirements, clean site, etc. to ensure project is completed successfully (i.e. safely, within scope, budget, schedule, quality, commissioning, start-up, turnover to client, and close-out);
Directed recruitment and retention of staff and supervisors;
Trained, supervised and evaluated staff;
Managed up to 80 direct employ staff and up to 100 specialist contractors to ensure they effectively deliver the project in accordance with the project requirements;
Liaison with others to ensure the most efficient of operations and the best utilization of available resources;
Problem recognition, including identifying issues prior to them becoming critical and taking appropriate actions to bring solutions to problems taking into consideration impacts of the solutions;
Ability to think outside the box;
Report status, successes, challenges and plans of action to client for resolution in a timely manner; and
Perform other related duties incidental to the work.

Have been involved in some of the Worlds most prestigious projects Atlantis Hotels in Bahamas and Dubai; Kuala Lumpur City Center; World Financial Center in New York; Canary Wharf in London; The Palm, Dubai; University of Michigan; University of Washington; Walter C. McKenzie Health Sciences Center in Edmonton, Alberta, etc.;
Have been involved in complex projects Walter C McKenzie Health Sciences Center; Winnipeg Center for Disease Control; Hazardous Material Remediation; Tunnels; Auditorium; Aquarium; Power Plants; and Road Work;
