Operations Increased profits by 470%: As COO took Prime Engineering from less than 2% profit in 2007 to 9.11% profit through August 2008. Market Segments included: industrial, aviation, public works and residential and commercial development. Project Construction costs $100MM. Turned around Rochester & Associates Atlanta operation. Increased profits -11% to +34% profits in eight (8) months. Doubled 2005-profit plan. Public and private clients. Revitalized a Public Works practice from zero revenue to $3 million in 15 months at Wood/Patel. Grew the staff from one to twenty-five plus people in same time frame. Projects included civil engineering, water and wastewater systems and municipal streets and roads. Spearheaded the reorganization of Delta Environmental Consultants Atlanta District consulting operation and increased its revenues from $1.2 MM to $3.5MM, and, increased operating income from 8% to +24%, within an 8 month period. Eastern Region General Manger. Multiple Office accountability for service delivery and sales, delivering the planned profits for 10 regional offices with 150 professionals and approximately $18.0MM in revenues. Exceeding business plans by restructuring a 100 employee District Operation, with low productivity to yield $11MM in annual revenues at a 30% operating income for three consecutive years. Project construction costs approximately $300MM. Led construction administrative team providing site and engineering resident inspection and startup services, as operations manager, of the construction of a $270MM resource recovery facility. Exceed Revenue and Profit Goals Seven consecutive years as General Manager at Delta Environmental Consultants.
Business Development Directed national client programs, delivering $17.0MM to clients bottom line. Retained a $5.5MM annual revenue client account, for another department. This client was about ready to fire us. Lead the development of a strategic business development plan; and, trained and developed senior consultants into collaborative client trusted advisors. Enhanced our market position by creating penetration strategies for target specific client groups. Increased new client revenues by over 300% the first year. Developed and presented the strategies to win a $50MM wastewater project. This project resulted in over $9MM in fees.
Strategic Planning/Problem Solving Facilitated the development of business and strategic plans as a company officer for four consulting engineering companies over the past 20 years. Responsible for business planning and plan operations implementation. Plans included market positioning, client industry segments and targeted client strategies to perpetuate profitable firm growth.
