UNIVERSAL MALL L.L.C., Warren, MI 2008-2009 Owners Representative $28M Annual Budget Highly recruited by the corporations owner after providing thought provoking insight at a meeting orchestrated to discuss the details of how to gain approval of a two year old project. Upon acceptance, given full autonomy over converting a 950,000 sq. ft. 45 year enclosed mall into a modern open air in-line 650,000 sq. ft. super center, which entailed evaluation of initial construction plans, interviewing potential contractors, formulating project budget, and superintending daily construction activities. Examined and presented a plan of action necessary to get proposal approved and project underway within 4 hours of meeting with executive team; plan accepted and able to commence with the first phases of demolition within 3 months. Trusted advisor, entrusted to identify, negotiate and recommend for award the architects, engineers and general contractors to Ownership. Identified and recommended value engineering alternatives that were instrumental in fulfilling project on time and $8M under a $30M budget.
