Managed broad range of construction projects valued up to $35M for private, public and municipal clients of engineering consulting firm, including overseeing major renovation and infrastructure projects for Ft. Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport. Made critical decisions, resulting in project completion according to timelines, optimum resource management and minimum change orders. Served as liaison between customers and company, and interfaced with other engineering teams, contractors, management and regulatory agencies. Tracked project information and generated reports using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and used CADD for design. Performed schedule and cost analysis. Managed project administrative functions, including hiring / evaluating employees, completing invoicing and controlling documents. Facilitated project control and QA training and served as Certified Instructor for environmental inspections.
Selected Projects / Accomplishments:
Successfully spearheaded Ft. Lauderdale / Hollywood International and North Perry General Aviation Airport projects, as well as served as Lead Consultant for engineering services agreements. Also developed final civil plans for $18M Task 1 West Side Redevelopment project, including plans for roads, runway, drainage, water, sewer, piping, FAA power and communication duct bank. Completed $7M Taxilane Tango and Apron Rehabilitation project $500K under projected costs.
Designed and provided construction project management and administration for North Perry General Aviation Airport Administration Building.
Spearheaded Key Biscayne Stormwater Improvement Project with $35M budget. System included 8,000 linear feet of RCP and structures. Provided changes and customer service to residents.
Designated as consulting City Inspector for water, sewer and drainage projects, as well as served as Resident Project Engineer for pavement repairs and structural rehabilitation for town hall and parks.
Certified 6 runway projects within South Florida area, as well as managed micro-surfacing project for runway at large air carrier airport. Conducted complex geo-tech study for concourse.
Co-managed $10M Normandy SUD project for City of Miami Beach to redevelop neighborhoods.

Provided mechanical and industrial systems expertise to demountable wall partition manufacturer, as well as provided design and working plans for plant improvements. WESTINGHOUSE CO-GENERATION FACILITY, Bellingham, MA
Oversaw 100-member team, project administrative functions and budgets for mechanical construction project. Rented facilities, provided site office management for field office and technical support for on-site engineering. Maintained and developed schedules and tracked budgetary costs. Reported to Senior Vice President, interfaced with Owner and negotiated all change orders. Purchased project material and equipment and collaborated with sub-contractors.

Completed $3.5M project 4 weeks ahead of schedule, 15% under budget and with zero safety incidents.
