I have over 30 years of estimating, construction management, project management and leadership experience with both A&E consultants and general contractors. My experience spans most types of contracts (lump sum, design/build, fixed price, unit cost, turnkey) including all sixteen divisions. I worked on new and rehabilitation projects of the following types: airport, seaports, parking garages, prisons, hotels, high rise buildings, hospitals, museums, power plants and other industrial projects, offices buildings, roads, bridges and viaducts, tunnels, universities, refineries, and other various types of infrastructure. I have more than ten years of field experience and more than 20 years of office experience. My experience working for construction contractors has given me keen insight into how pricing should be build-up in relation to type, size and nature of the project and my work for A/Es has proved valuable in rounding out my estimating experience.
I have the ability to brings much more to the table than broad experience in estimating and take offs. My formal education as an architect and my over 30 years of working in the design and construction field, arm me with well rounded knowledge and experience. This includes the following areas: conceptual, detailed and definitive bid documents, e.g. general conditions, plans & specifications for all divisions; drawings coordination (quality control); value engineering; change orders; claims; cost management; and time management. I have done projects for the Federal Government as well as private organizations and foreign governments.

BS Degree in Architectural Engineering in 1969 Beirut University.
Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Estimating/Costing in 1972 Kalandia Center.
Certificates in Building laws 1980 and in Construction Scheduling/Programming (Primavera) 1992.
Member with AAECE International since 2003.

A- I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both oral and written. Over 30 years directly related
work experience with a proven track record. Ability to lead and motivate staff, and to be responsible for
departmental budget and strategy. Ability to meet multiple deadlines, and handle multiple tasks within a high
pressure work environment..
B- I have excellent professional experience with R.S. Means and related estimating software, Winest (8 years),
Timberline (5 years), Excel (18 years, which I have adapted for estimating). Word (18 years),Internet (12 years),
Primavera (5 years), MS Project (4 years), and fair experience with AutoCAD and others.
