I have more than ten years of field experience and more than 20 years of office experience. My experience working for construction contractors has given me keen insight into how pricing should be build-up in relation to type, size and nature of the project and my work for A/Es has proved valuable in rounding out my estimating experience.
I have the ability to brings much more to the table than broad experience in estimating and take offs. My formal education as an architect and my over 30 years of working in the design and construction field, arm me with well rounded knowledge and experience. This includes the following areas: conceptual, detailed and definitive bid documents, e.g. general conditions, plans & specifications for all divisions; drawings coordination (quality control); value engineering; change orders; claims; cost management; and time management.
