On site staff of seven (7). $34 mil, 4 story office building, 1 story Annex building, 195 car parking garage plus accessories buildings and site structures. 18 month schedule. (Blaine stopped work on this project for nonpayment) Thompson Boling Arena Improvements, University of TN- Senior Project Manager, General Contractor. $13.6 Million, Renovation of UTs basketball arena to include addition of luxury suites between seasons (7 months) CSAA Call Center- Senior Project Manager, General contractor. $18.2 Million 200,000 sf renovation of existing building as a call center and IT center for California AAA, Glendale, AZ., in 3 phases in 8-1/2 months. As Project Manager/ Construction Manager Madison County School District bond issue school building programs. Senior Construction Manager, staff varied, approximately 10. Two (2) school building programs (done back to back) totaling $70 million which included 1 new high school, 4 new middle schools, 3 new elementary schools plus renovation of 3 elementary schools and 1 high school. Supervised multiple Architects, engineers and testing professionals. Begun in May of 2000, the final school was complete August 04.
Rankin County School District bond issue school building program. Senior Construction Manager, staff varied, approximately 10. $68 million school building program which included 2 new high schools, 4 new elementary schools and 12 additions and renovations. Begun in the fall of 2002, the last school was complete in August 2006. Mississippi Archives and History Building. Senior Project Manager, General Contractor. A $24 million, 5 stories plus basement, concrete frame with Indiana Limestone skin state office building with archival storage and a public reading room plus a 3 story concrete frame Central Mechanical Plant building with an APC and brick exterior. Extremely high finishes. Extremely sophisticated mechanical systems. Complete 5/03. Mississippi Department of Health, Office and Parking Garage- Senior Project Manager, General Contractor. A $14.7 million, 4 story office building with brick, pre-cast and glass exterior and a 6.5 level cast in place parking garage with brick and pre-cast exterior plus a new central plant in a new M/E building. Complete 11/99. Heritage House Retirement Center- Senior Project Manager, General Contractor. A $5.5 million, 2 story, wood framed, 100 unit assisted living center with brick and EIFS exterior skin & shingle roofs over medium to high interior finishes. Complete 3/99. USPS Jackson, MS. P&DC Design/Build Addition. Senior Project Manager, General Contractor. A $4.27 million, 1 story, 40,000 SF addition to the main Post Office. A design/Build bid job, the Architects worked for us. Complete 4/00. Mississippi College Healthplex- Senior Project Manager, General Contractor. A $10 million, 3 story, 110,000 SF Healthplex which consist of a health and fitness center, 4 pools, a gymnasium, racquet ball and squash courts, a walking track and free weight and machine areas; 20,000sf doctors clinic and a restaurant. An Owner Purchaser Order project with numerous changes, the project was completed in 3 phases. Complete 10/97. Mississippi College Alumni Hall Renovation- Senior Project Manager, General Contractor. A $3.67 million renovation of 1925 structure plus the addition of an outdoor plaza. An owner purchase order project with numerous changes. Complete 12/97. Jackson State University Library Addition-Senior Project Manager, General Contractor. A $11.3 million, 67,000 SF, four story concrete frame addition and 78,000 SF renovation of an existing five story library on an in town campus. APC and brick exterior with high interior finishes of marble floors, wood trim and glass rails around a five story atrium. Built in six phases with the library operating. Complete 9/97. Sheraton Casino-Project Manager, General Contractor. A $35 million, 100,000+ SF, three story +, casino on a sea barge. A fast track project, the casino opened in 7-1/2 months of 24 hour a day, 7 day a week efforts. Complete 9/94. Ameristar Casino- Senior Project Manager, General Contractor. A $24 million, 90,000 SF, four story (including one in the barges), casino on two river barges joined together. Designed to look like a river boat, it has very high, complicated finishes. A fast track project, the casino opened 26 weeks after starting steel erection using a 24 hour, 7 day a week schedule. Complete 2/94 Baptist Medical Center MOB- Project Manager, General Contractor. $3.5 million, Single story, 30,000SF +/- MOB plus pharmacy. Metal stud framed structure built to suite Doctor. Medium finishes with one procedure room.
