Matthew J. Thomas is a third generation building tradesman previously employed through the hiring halls of Ironworkers Local #420 and #402 in Reading, PA and Port St. Lucie, FL respectively. He has extensive construction experience in both coal cogeneration and nuclear power industries. At Manning Materials, he was the corporate representative to the Insulating Concrete Form Association and the National Association of Home Builders for development and implementation of marketing strategies to increase association awareness and client participation. Currently, Matthew is a Board member of Safe Harbor of Greater West Chester Homeless Shelter, where he has served in numerous capacities including immediate Past President, Personnel Committee Chairman, Facilities Committee Chairman and currently serves as Construction Committee Chairman, overseeing a $1.5 million expansion project. He is active in fund-raising activities for charitable organizations including for Safe Harbor of Greater West Chester and the Pennsylvania Wrestling Hall of Fame. Matthew is an avid sportsman who enjoys running, weight training, carpentry and skiing. He resides in Chester County, Pennsylvania with his wife Anne and their four children.
