Overcame a cash crunch.  A&Ms cash flow dwindled as a result of poor
winter conditions.  Put together P&Ls, applied to financial services
institutions for funding.  Secured a $35K
cash injection that carried the company through the winter and invested part of
proceeds in successful branding and web site projects.

Accelerated cash flow and
streamlined operations.  The average GreenPoint loan
required mountains of documents subject to multiple overlapping reviews.  Revised workflow.
Architected and installed new fully connected and integrated web AI system.  Increased productivity and drove cash flow
from $8B to $32B.

Built an e-commerce department.  Formed and led a team that created an enterprise AI-Web solution using outside vendors,
off-shore help and the inside team.  Put
together the e-commerce infrastructure that supported growth of loan
applications from $23M to $1.2B. 
Improved cash flow 12 days on $2B a month.

Facilitated information sharing among
sister companies.  Oversaw the program in which GreenPoint
Corporate IT hosted the infrastructure and GPM
Mortgage subsidiary pushed the first set of e-policies and security standards
to share documents, videos, etc.  This
model was quickly adopted by Legal and Compliance business units.

Surmounted a crisis.  Five Liggett (client)
IT project managers quit suddenly. 
Developed and executed a game plan, and completed all open projects on
time including an engineering and maintenance system (a $10M project) and a migration
from the mainframe and AS400s, creating full integration to the ORACLE 9 ERP
system.

Improved
ROI on fixed assets. 
A client had a large investment in heavy equipment that was
underutilized.  Researched the local
market and discovered additional applications for the equipment (firefighting).  Secured a lucrative contract with USDA Forest
Service that provided an average
40% increase for equipment usage.

Business
Manager A&M Truck & Trailer Repair -  2011 to 2013.  Managed daily operations for this start up,
privately-held trucking, towing, recovery and HazMat handling
organization.  Implemented technology,
performed marketing functions, acquired bank financing.  Focused on collections and maintaining
positive cash flow.

Technical
Consultant 2003 to 2011. 
Based in Washington State, collaborated with clients leadership teams to
define technologies, strategic business plans and stimulate growth. Enabled clients
to leverage existing equipment to combat wildfires.  Transitioned clients when family circumstances
required relocation to Ohio in 2011.

VP,
Web Technology GreenPoint Mortgage 1998 to 2003.  Built an e-commerce department. Finished
enterprise LOS application.  Built EAI
foundation and implemented SOA.  Spearheaded
Intranet, Oracle ERP development, CRM (data warehouse). Managed a staff of 75
through five direct reports for this $32B organization.

Project
Manager & DBA Robert Half & Associates 1993 to 1998.  Implemented new technology architecture,
software, network, data center for Liggett group.  Oversaw full installation of Oracle 7.3 and
modified Sun Unix system for the GAP logistics software.  Managed teams of up to ten.
