Washington Mutual Green Retail Program
Successfully mined the extensive utility billing database for the first time in the companys history to segment and accurately reveal the energy consumption patterns of the entire real estate portfolio.  Created custom Energy Performance Reports, which served as the basis for developing, deploying and measuring the results of the Green Retail Program endorsed by the Senior Vice President of Corporate Real Estate and the President of Retail Banking.  Coordinated the implementation of low-cost Energy Efficiency Work Orders through the CBRE national facilities management network throughout all retail bank locations. 


Colorado Springs School District 11 Resource Conservation Management Program
Provided functional specifications, quality assurance testing and field engineering for the development and deployment of UM Profiler, a web-enabled data acquisition and visualization tool for utility meter interval data. Established data entry and quality control procedures accurate energy consumption reporting and avoided cost calculations. Also wrote the first Building Use and Operation Guide integrating the program with facilities staff, principals and teachers.  Overall, the program avoided over $1 million per year in energy costs and won the 2004 National Energy Star Award.


Portland World Trade Center
Performed specification, implementation oversight, and commissioning of major changes to 2,000-ton central cooling plant, including plate-and-frame heat exchanger for winter free cooling and comprehensive revision to chilled water system software control program.  Provided successful diagnosis and modification of control strategies for stable building static pressure control in the high-rise office tower for the first time in buildings 30-year history.  Completed the design, specification and commissioning of a facility-wide, master metering plan, including electric sub-meters and chilled water and hot water BTU meters.


Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Advanced Customer Technology Test (ACT2)
Served as Project Manager for the successful completion of the most advanced field monitoring project of its kind at the time, including site data collection and impact evaluation of near-market ready technologies implemented at four commercial, four residential and one agricultural site.  Responsible for long-term, high-accuracy monitoring of energy, temperature, weather, flow and other parameters for calibration of DOE-2 building simulation models.


Northeast Utilities Energy Action Program
Detailed energy conservation studies of 30 commercial and industrial facilities totaling over 4,500,000 square feet to identify conservation measures that qualified for utility incentives.  Major facilities included the U.S. Postal Service Bulk Mail Center, Springfield, MA, General Electric Defense Systems, and Smith & Wesson.
