I am responding to your interest in a Project Superintendent. I have a wide range of experience in a variety of Projects both Large & Small. Familiar with all aspects of being a modern day Project Superintendent such as RFIs, Daily logs, Contract and Print Reviews. My experience includes but is not limited to Site Work, Excavation, Structural Steel, Concrete, Metal Studs & Drywall, and Masonry. Before Jones Lang LaSalle Construction, I was a Superintendent for Concept Development Group Projects I have completed include Construction of New Summit Hill JH in Frankfort, IL, New Nancy McConathy Library in Sauk Village, IL, Classroom addition of Hillcrest HS, Buildout of 2nd floor at Indian Prairie Library in Darien, IL, Classroom remodels at Bremen HS & Oak Forest HS. Doherty Construction, Sunny Hill and Woodland Schools in Carpentersville, a Project in which Doherty held the General Trades Package at Foster & Kerkstra Schools in Oak Forest, IL Before Doherty, Viking Construction Management employed me as a Construction Manager. GENERAL SKILLS: I am computer Literate and can run a variety of Word Processing programs some of the skills that I have obtained in the Superintendent position are as follows. I know how to read and interpret blueprints in great detail looking for possible conflicts. I am familiar with Change Order preparation and execution, RFIs ASIs, CCDs, Pay Applications and other AIA documents. Daily logs, and other pertinent paperwork and responsibilities of todays Professional Superintendent. SARGENT & LUNDY OFFICE BUILDOUTS: At 55 E Monroe in Chicago I was Involved in the Buildout of the 17th, 18th, and 35th Floors which are approx 35,000 sq ft as well as a Security System on all 13 Floors they occupy there. The 17th and 18th floors consisted of Demo to core walls and concrete ceiling and deck; Buildout consisted of offices and System Furniture as well as Breakrooms and expansion and remodel of Restrooms. The 35th Floor consisted of the Same as 17 & 18 as well as a State of the Art Conferencing Center, PC Training Room and Screening Room. Also 35 contains an Elaborate Welcome Center and Reception area and CEOs Office and was a LEED certified Project. I was also Responsible for Installation for a Security System on All 13 Floors that S & L Occupies at 55 E. The Security System involved Conduit and Related devices including Electric Strikes and Cameras in existing occupied Floors, which had to be cleaned up and put back together every night.

RESTAURANT .COM OFFICE BUILDOUTS: Work there consisted of Demo and Remodel of their Corporate Headquarters at 1500 Shure Drive in Arlington Heights. This Project was done in 2 phases over a year it consisted of the entire 6th floor, The First phase included offices and Breakroom and Conference Room. CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT GROUP
NEW SUMMIT HILL JUNIOR HIGH: Brand New 160,000 SF Junior High for Frankfort School District 161. Project Scope started at Site Clearing to Punch List beginning 04/06 to completion 07/07. Project consisted of 28 Bid Packages and numerous other subcontractors to coordinate on a tight schedule. There were many obstacles to overcome, numerous weather delays, unsuitable soils, Design changes and challenges and construction schedule changes yet the New JH was delivered on time. The Project consisted of all site utilities, road widening & parking facilities, two 2 story classroom wings, two gyms, band & Library, Administration Area and Cafeteria/Auditorium facilities.

NEW Nancy MCCONATHY LIBRARY: Brand New 16,000 SF from site development to Grand Opening. Library is of Metal Stud, Structural Steel, and Brick Veneer. Construction consisted of Main Library, Meeting Room, Technology Room, all Mechanicals and Site Utilities. The New Library has filled a Void in the Community of Sauk Village as the Old Library was in an old Dollar Store. I Individually coordinated all trades to work together towards the common goal to complete the Project On-Time and Under Budget. Was responsible to communicate directly with MEP Structural, and Civil Engineers. I was able to resolve all conflicts with DWGs and Field Conditions to deliver the Project to a very satisfied Client

Classroom Remodels and Additions: Various Classroom Remodels including Science Labs, Food Lab and Restroom Renovations as well as a small addition to Hillcrest HS. Project scopes included Demo of existing Conditions Sawcutting existing slabs to install new plumbing, electrical and mechanical elements required. Summer 2005 Project consisted of 3 remodels going on simultaneously at 3 different schools and I was able to complete all three in a short 10-week period.

DOHERTY
SUNNY HILL AND WOODLAND SCHOOLS: My responsibilities on this project INCLUDED THE INSTALLATION AND DEMOLOITION OF THE Schools HVAC System. This included removal of existing Hydronic piping and extensive installation of New Piping. There were many other related installations, which included Controls Installation for Building Automation. Electrical, Sheet Metal, Masonry, Acoustical Ceilings, Carpentry and other related Trades were also involved. The Schedule for this Project was VERY Tight as we began on 06/04/03 and had to be Substantially Complete by 08/26/03 to allow School to begin. I was able to coordinate all trades to accomplish the Project and the New Chiller was Up and Running by the time School Started

VIKING
VAL-MATIC Factory Addition: This project consisted of a 146 space Parking Lot with 1-acre detention pond. The 32,500 sf Factory Addition consisted of a Structural Steel & Masonry Building at two different elevations. I ran this Project from breaking ground and site clearing till Punch List. The building had four below grade truck docks as well as an on grade dock. Everything on this Project was my responsibility. The approximate value of the Project was $1.85 million. This was a ground up building that consisted of two different floor and roof elevations. Also a detention area had to be created for the new parking lot as well as reshaping an existing detention area.

PRAIRIE OAKS SCHOOL: My responsibilities on this project have been very difficult as I came onto this project in January of 2002 and the Project began in August of 2000. I took over in Phase 2 of the project, which consists of a new Gym, Lobby, Offices, and restrooms. I am also dealing with Phase 1 Punch Lists as well as outstanding items not completed. Phase 2 also has the final site work to complete and Playground Paving. This project has been a challenge as many of the contractors were familiar with one CM and had to adjust to a new CM as well as a different style of management. I have developed relationships in a short period of time and have taken the project in a more positive direction.

McClier
FIREMANS FUND: This project was located in a 30-story office building in downtown Chicago. McClier acted as the Project Managers on this project, GHK were the project architects. I was the Head Project Superintendent for the entire project. I was responsible for coordinating all subcontractors as to when their specific part of the project was required to be completed. I was responsible for quality control and safety for all subs. The project consisted of an interior build-out of the 4th and 5th floors of the existing building. I took the project from demolition to inspections through punch-list and client delivery.

COMDISCO WOOD DALE: On this project I basically handled the closeout, which included all of the final punch list items as well as a few final extras and final completion of subcontractor responsibilities. The project consisted of two separate contracts. The first was the construction of what was called the Web-Availability area. This consisted of a command center viewing rooms ADA accessibility ramps and raised floors and extensive electrical work.

7-11 CHICAGO/ CITGO BUILDING PROGRAM: On these projects I oversaw the supervision of the General contractors that McClier hired for the project. I also coordinated different subcontractors hired directly by 7-11. Some of these contractors consisted of the canopy erectors the gasoline contractors and the store equipment and furnishings sub. I was involved these projects from demolition to site-work all the way through store completion and delivery to store manager. This work included the installation of all underground utilities and tanks and piping for gasoline dispensers.
