1.I have solid experience in estimating Metal Stud Framing, Drywall, Doors, ACT, Paint, and FRP.
2. I am very good with digital estimating programs as in my resume. I am a fast learner when it comes to programs I have not used in the past. I have both extensive field and office experience in the construction field, both in residential and commercial construction.
3. My strengths are that I have great computer, and people skills. I am self motivated, and a hard worker. I do not have a degree. However, I do have 30 years of experience at the age of 47. Ive done all aspects of construction in those 30 years after high school. I have the skills to build all most anything from the ground up.
As you will see on my resume, I have worked as an Estimator/Project Manager for both my own company and others.

Along the way when work was slow I learned how to frame and read plans.

1996 to 2005 Pens Construction Owner-Estimator / PM Phoenix, AZ
2005 to 2006 Desert Interior Acoustics Estimator Phoenix, AZ.
May 2007 to April 2010 Commercial Drywall Estimator/General Manager for Company in Glendale, AZ.
Have experience in training people to be estimators.
I have estimating experience and training with the Quick Bid Estimating Program. I am familiar with isqft and tool box and use ON SCREEN TAKE OFF. I also managed all aspects of the office and job related areas. I also worked in sales so as to get jobs. I have excellent communication skills.
Also have extensive skills in reading and understanding contract documents and negotiating with the General Contractors and going through a complete scope check.
I have experience in all areas of construction, heating & cooling being my weakest area.

Framing and Drywall.
In 1996 decided to start my own business as Pens Construction, doing
Metal Stud Framing, Drywall and Acoustical Ceilings. Sold Pens
Construction in 2004.
I am able to estimate many different scopes of work, including but not
limited to, metal studs, drywall, fire stopping, paint, acoustical ceilings, and FRP.
I have experience in actually doing all these trades, managing and
Estimating them all.
