Employment history: Dec 2005- May 2010: Sales/management Coastal Concrete Products, Inc. Responsible for all facets of sales, permitting, scheduling and manufacture of precast concrete fence system. Managed 25 employees as annual sales reached 4.3 million.
August 2003- June 2005: General Manager for Regal Custom Products. Responsible for directing all facets of company with 30 employees fabricating and installing solid surface counter tops. 2004 sales were over 4 million dollars.
June 1999 - August 2003: Sales manager for Solid Surface Solutions. I was instrumental in growing the company from no business other than in-house sales by parent cabinet company to top ten with over 2 million in annual Corian sales in Florida in a three year period. Additionally, I trained sales assistants and new sales personnel.
1991 - 1999: Sales for Creative Homeworks, Inc. performed all facets of the sales process from making contacts, picking up prints, pricing, proposals, creating sales orders, change orders, customer scheduling, attending subcontractor meetings and working on collections. I also trained new sales staff.
1986-1991 : Accounting and management for Pelican West Associates, a developer of two villa projects in Pelican Bay, Naples Fl. Started in bookkeeping and eventually became responsible for hiring general contractor, underground utilities, roads, landscape, Realtors and management of Homeowners Association until turn over to owners.
1981-1986 : Manager: Westfair Fish Mkt., Westport, Ct. and co-owner for Westfair Fish and Chips 1984-1986. Market responsibilities included wholesale/retail hiring, purchasing, scheduling and preparing bank deposits. I opened the fish and chip restaurant by completing a market/feasibility projection for bank the loan to open the business. Also ran catering out of the restaurant.
Education: Associate Degree in Restaurant Management from SUNY Delhi. Graduated number five of the class in 1981.
