For my entire career I have been involved in sales and construction operations and estimating and managing various types of construction projects ranging from subdivisions to restaurants. I have learned all the required paperwork of general contracting, I.D.O.T. and IN.D.O.T. Projects. I have a working knowledge of HCSS Bidding Software and Paydirt Take-off Software.

I have worked with a medium sized excavator that was also a general contractor for large subdivisions and highway projects. I was responsible for the estimation and presentation of estimates to customers. I gained experience in estimating land development, earthwork, concrete, site-utility work and asphalt paving while at Thornton Cartage & Construction Company for 19 years. I developed computer control of all cost accounting procedures and started a construction management division that did several industrial projects and one design-build project.

I also have experience in environmental petroleum soil remediation, tank removal and tank installation.
