Water Resource Engineering Associates (May 2008-present)
Staff Engineer III - Perform design hydrology studies to calculate runoff. Size and design pipe layout for agricultural use, municipalities, and local water purveyors. Lift station and size pressure force mains and gravity mains. Calculate sewer and water supply demand based on UPC. Determine fireflow demand based on UPC and UBC. Assist in general Civil Engineering calculations as required (i.e. Sloshing Wave calculations for water tanks, etc). Assist in analyses, calculations, and any pertinent work in order to generate utility master plans.

Ventura County Watershed Protection District, Planning and Regulatory Hydrology Section (October 06-April 08)
Engineer I and Engineer II -Perform design hydrology studies using VCRat 2.5 (Ventura County Rational Method) and generate regional hydrographs using HEC-HMS and S-graph study results. Completed the S-Graph study under senior hydrologist supervision, which can be used to generate hydrographs for basin design. Provide in-house VCRat training as needed to public and staff.

Research laboratory assistant includes DNA extractions with different water samples in areas such as Ventura County, Stockton and others, which is a possible improvement of water quality testing.
