EXPERIENCE

2008-2010 Drywall estimator for BDI Drywall in Highland, CA. Accurately performed drywall and metal framing take-offs. Priced the metal framing using Excel. Performed some take-offs online, or with software. Contacted developers and contractors to bring in new business. Also scouted job sites for the same reason. Coordinated with office personnel to submit proposals on time. Followed up on bids to confirm our understanding of the scope of work, also to ascertain the status of the project.

2007-2008 Drywall estimator for CS Drywall in LaVerne. Reviewed construction plans, performed take-offs, assisted the chief estimator in preparing competitive bids. Field measured buildings under construction.

2005-2006 Self employed as a Home Inspector. Inspections and marketing.

2001-2005 Inspected homes for PACE, an independent contractor for Edison and Gas Co. Inspected various energy saving measures their contractors install. These measures included new attic insulation, evaporative coolers, air conditioners, duct testing, water heater blankets, weather stripping, etc.
CAD Draftsman for Blue Fountain Pools, Ontario, CA. Created pool designs on computer and expedited construction permits.
Field Inspector for Property Recovery Professionals, San Diego, CA. Inspected foreclosure houses to estimate loss from theft/damage for insurance purposes. Inspected over four thousand houses, wrote preliminary estimates and daily reports, traveled daily in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
Foreclosure Rep-American Investors Equity Group, Upland, CA. Approached owners of distressed properties to negotiate a solution to their financial problems. Inspected houses.
Plan checker, J.C.Penney corporate construction department. Various construction management duties in the planning and design of new and remodeled stores.
