Responsibilities include development and implementation of the facilities operating plan, development and implementation of the preventive maintenance program, coordinate communications via weekly progress meetings with The Authority, construction contractors, consultants and maintenance supervisors.
Recruit and train staff to perform maintenance responsibilities.
Develop Warranty Corrective Action forms and procedures to insure prompt and complete follow up for warranty issues.
Administer safety meetings and procedures.
Inspect and monitor all stations and equipment for proper operation and maximum efficiency.
Coordinate transfer of facility responsibility from the Project Management Team to The Washington Metropolitan Airports Authority.

Oversee a 1.4 million SF, thirteen building class "A" office portfolio in Austin, Texas. Responsibilities include a strong working knowledge of the planning, implementation, coordination and supervision of all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications and energy management systems (including fire/life safety programs, plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues) for assigned properties.
Monitor preventive maintenance programs on an on-going basis and make adjustments as necessary to insure equipment reliability and efficiency. Monitor chemical treatment systems by performing periodic testing and making correct adjustments.
Supervise duties of engineering staff, as well as ensure personal development and training for each member, including monitoring landscaping and janitorial issues.
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, coordinate construction work for tenant build outs and supervise outside contractors for maintenance and repair issues.
Support property management and prepare budget for operating costs, setting out budget variance explanations, utility variances, tenant bill backs and management.
