My responsibilities included the following:
Perform site visits to evaluate site conditions including access, availability of services and
special requirements.
Perform quality surveys and develop detailed takeoffs to define the materials and labor required to complete the project. This includes reviewing and obtaining information from various drawings and specifications to complete the scope of work.
Work with potential vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing information.
Determine execution strategy with the Superintendent including the sequencing of project activities, shift or overtime requirements, equipment needs, constraints at the site and other factors that may influence costs.
Prepare a complete cost summary for the project that includes the cost of labor, materials, equipment,
subcontractors, overhead, taxes, insurance, markup and any other applicable costs.

I have a strong mechanical design background & I have worked in the field as a 1st class mechanic, 2nd class plumber / pipe fitter, and a 2nd class electrician.

Designed floor plans, created databases, documented site surveys, and tracked space configuration changes through out the complex.

My responsibilities included the following:
Developed and implemented start-up plan for the drafting/design department, inclusive of selecting software & computers for department.

Created system wiring diagrams, system over view drawings, cable drawings, sheet metal details, and printed circuit board details (drill dwgs).

Projects:
The Boston Central Artery Tunnel, Saint Louis Water Company, Duluth Water Company, BG&E Notch Cliff Plant, and BG&E LNG Plant are some companies these systems were designed for. Some of the units / systems produced are: Data Acquisition Units (DAU'S), Process Control Units (PCUS), Distribution Control Units (DCU'S), Remote Terminal Units (RTUS). These were done to level II and III drawing specifications. These packages included different cabinet concepts and configurations, layouts, details, and assembly drawings for various types of electronic cabinets.
