My responsibilities included supervising a design team of MEP engineers, designers and CAD production
personnel as well as being responsible for MEP coordination for all projects assigned to my team. My
specific duties as a Team Leader and Project Manager included team-building and motivating a team of 9
employees, making sure that they understood the tasks that they were assigned and the scope of work for
their projects including any design due dates and schedule constraints. I would do periodic reviews with
each employee covering any concerns they had with the workplace, my performance review of their work
and documenting career goals for each employee. I also was involved with billing/invoicing reviews,
maintaining project budgets and managing resource allocation for projects. I was involved with a variety
of projects simultaneously including school renovations and prototypes, library projects, hospital
renovations, several projects for Thunder Valley Casino Expansion in Sacramento, CA., and being the
landlords engineer for the shell buildings for Town Square Development in Las Vegas, NV. I also
participated in the design of a few LEED projects with the state of Nevada.
