A notable scientist and engineer, I built my success story across multiple industries including chemical, petroleum, renewable energy and defense. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor in Chemistry from Brigham Young University. I have been recognized as one of the top 100 inventors worldwide.
CAREER HISTORY
President / Chief Scientist, Institute for Energy Independence (IEI), 2007 to Present. Renewable energy startup. Principle focus has been research and development relating to geothermal energy power generation using abandoned oil and gas wells for heat source.
President / Chief Engineer, Novel Engineering Solutions, 2003 to 2007. Performed research and development on methods to meet Department of Defense weapons requirements. Successfully completed Phase I, Phase II and Phase II enhancement SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research Program) efforts. Controlled $2M budget.
VP Technology / Chief Scientist, Schaller Engineering, 2003 to 2006. Concurrent position providing technical support, guidance and recommendations for company specializing in tactical command, control, computer, communications, intelligence, surveillance (C4ISR) and reconnaissance systems for the Department of Defense.
Associate Principal Engineer, Sverdrup Technology, Inc., 1995 to 2002. Led a broad range of missile propulsion and warhead systems engineering projects. Served as technical liaison between the U.S. government, European and Japanese governments, and private industry for international cooperative engineering and R&D projects.
