EXPERIENCE 2009-Present: Camp Dresser & McKee (CDM) Constructors Inc. Bagh (AJ&K), Pakistan Title of position: Resident Engineer. Construction of multistory schools, hospitals, and infrastructure works under the USAID funded Pakistan Earthquake Reconstruction and Recovery Program (PERRP). Buildings follow American earthquake resistance standards project costing 120 Million US DOLLARS. Job Summary:
Provides overall administrative and technical management, from bid preparation to project completion, on multiple medium size projects of moderate to high complexity. Supervised engineering staff consisting of four Assistant Resident Engineers and seven site inspectors on different sites in which there are five health facilities having covered area of 50,000 square feet and five schools having covered area of 70,000 square feet approximately. All the facilities are designed by keeping in view the seismic condition of the area with exclusive finishing of its kind.
Responsibilities:
Over all Supervision of layout of the buildings.Construction supervision of Heavy RCC concrete of different components of the building which includes foundation, columns, beams and slab. Quality control of the materials and supervision of laboratory tests. Co-ordinate with design office on different issues crop up during construction. Ensure adherence to, and follow all requirements of safety at site. Vetting of drawings and design review. promote Safety among peers, subordinates and supervisors. Ensure project is built on schedule and within budget. Management of Manpower and proper coordination with all stakeholders. Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site. Investigate potentially serious situations and field-related engineering Problems; implement corrective measures, Coordinate activities with other members of project team. Verification of project invoices submitted by the sub-contractors. Hold bi-weekly meetings with the contractors about the progress of work and assign them targets. Daily and weekly progress reports. Maintenance of documentation related to quality at site.
2007-2009: National Engineering Services NESPAK (Pvt.) Limited Mianwali, Pakistan Title of position: Resident Engineer Construction supervision of 85 MW Hydro Power Project at Jinnah Barrage costing Rs.3000 M. Responsibilities: Supervision of bulk excavation and earth work. Overall design review and vetting of drawings. Management & administration at site. Supervision of survey, grouting of foundation piles with grout machines, dewatering. To check the implementation of the construction schedule for timely completion of the project. To check the overall billing of the project.
2005-2007: National Engineering Services NESPAK (Pvt.) Ltd. Mian Channu, Pakistan Title of position: Resident Engineer
Construction supervision of 169 single storey houses, Infrastructure works and one multistory girls high school building comprises of auditorium for 250 people, canteen, and two care taker houses costing Rs. 100.84 million. Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate with client and contractor on different issues related to drawing & site. Supervision of brick masonry & concrete work at site. Supervision of layout and construction of infrastructure works. To prepare revise estimate of overall project. Ensure project is built on schedule and within budget. Coordination with the Design Team during initial design phase; identify design problems and recommend improvements. Management of Manpower and proper coordination with all stakeholders. Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site.
2003-2005: National Engineering Services NESPAK (pvt) LTD. Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan Title of position: Resident Engineer Construction supervision of 254 houses and two multistory school buildings (Boys & Girls) costing Rs. 170 million. Responsibilities: Overall design review and vetting of drawings, management & administration at site. To check the bar-bending schedule. Supervision of Class A and Class B concrete. Supervision of Mosaic flooring and skirting. To co-ordinate with the client and contractor on different issues crop up during construction. Quality control of material and supervision of laboratory work. Act as a quality control officer. Making of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports. Supervision of over all survey, lay out and on going civil works like concreting of foundations, columns, slabs, masonry works, infrastructure works.
2001-2003: National Engineering Services NESPAK (pvt) LTD. Mianwali, Pakistan Title of position: Assistant Resident Engineer Supervision of Remodeling of 25 miles long Thal Canal, water courses and channels costing Rs.2000 million under water management program. Responsibilities: Survey of canal banks and bed of canal. Overall design review and vetting of drawings. Identification and approval of borrow areas. Construction Supervision of three Diversion channels of length 3 miles each. It involved huge earth work and compaction of banks to divert the flow of water. Supervision of earth work of the banks of existing canal. The canal banks which were scoured and cut down by the increased velocity of water was raised up to 70ft and widened up to 200ft. 6 thick layers were laid down and were compacted to achieve 95% compaction, then later on tested their compaction by sand cone method. Construction Supervision of filter material laid down under the banks and collecting drain to carry out the seepage water. Supervision of hot weather concrete by using concrete pumps and admixtures. Supervision of concreting of VR and DR bridges (piers, pile caps, pre-cast girders, their launching and deck slab) came in the way. To co-ordinate with the client and contractor on different issues crop up during construction. Quality control of material and supervision of laboratory. Muzbd AJK, Pakistan Title of position: Resident Engineer Construction supervision of AZAD KASHMIR LOGGING & SAW MILL Corporation (AKLASC) six-storey office building costing Rs. 60 Million.
Responsibilities: Supervision of layout of the six story building. Supervision of heavy RCC foundation work. Construction supervision of hot weather concreting. Construction supervision of finishing works (floor tiles, wall tiles, terrazzo tiles etc). Supervision of plumbing works. Daily, weekly and quarterly progress reports. Quality control and safety at site. To ensure the completion of project within its stipulated time frame and cost.
1999-2000: National Engineering Services NESPAK (pvt) LTD. Islamabad, Pakistan Title of position: Assistant Resident Engineer Construction supervision of Prime Minister's Housing Authority D" Type Apartments at G-11/4, Islamabad costing Rs 100M. Responsibilities: Construction Supervision of four storey 60 number apartments having 4 clusters of 12 apartments each on hard hilly stratum. Constructions of these apartments were inimitable in the sense that they were built on four terraces because of difference in level. Activities consisted of concreting of foundations, columns, beams and roof slabs, brick masonry work, plumbing work and infrastructure works. 1997-1999: Pakistan Engineering Services PES (pvt) LTD. Sheikhupura, Pakistan Title of position: Site Engineer
Worked in the construction supervision of 125 MW SABA Thermal Power Station. Responsibilities: Construction Supervision of access road and bridge of the power plant. Construction supervision of piling of power plant 28m in depth. Monitoring and implementing safety standards during the execution of the project. Quality control at site, to ensure the completion of project within its stipulated time frame and cost.
1993-1997: Pakistan Engineering Services PES (pvt) LTD. Mianwali, Pakistan Title of position: Site Engineer Construction supervision of related structures of 300 MW Nuclear Power Project costing Rs.500 Million.
Responsibilities: Construction Supervision of related structure of 300 MW nuclear power plant like water treatment plant, Conduit structure, cooling tower system. Water treatment plant consisted of 13 structures and is the state of the art technology. It has four clarifiers, 8 reservoirs containing different waters, sludge pump house etc. it has four conduit structures of length 200 ft each. Conduits consist of heavy RCC structure walls of width 3ft and finished by applying chemical brush-crete. Special type of fiber glass sheets was used in the concreting. Monitoring and implementing safety standards during the execution of the project. Quality control at site.

Got special increment and promotion over good performance and diligence shown in the execution of related structures of 300 MW nuclear power plant. Got the award and certificate of Best Resident Engineer of year 2009 over good performance shown in the PERRP project byCDM constructors. Computer skills:
