Twenty plus years of experience in complete electrical design, including lighting, power distribution and communication systems for Commercial, Educational, Institutional, Residential, Healthcare, and Light Industrial Projects.
Responsibilities included project coordination and management, specifications and report writing, short circuit calculations, cost estimates, liaison work and feasibility studies. Handled administration of the contracts including site visits, construction meetings and resolved construction issues.
Designed complete electrical distribution system from main electrical service to branch circuit wiring. The design also included use of generator, uninterruptible power supply, frequency conversion systems, medium and low voltage distribution, and computer room grounding.
Lighting design included application of direct and indirect lighting, daylight harvesting, automatic lighting controls, T-5 lamps and LED luminaries. Designed lighting systems to comply with Energy Conservation Codes.

Example of Accomplishments
Totally responsible for all aspects of electrical design for a brand new 335,000 square feet, 3 story High School building in a rural area. As a part of the project, negotiated with the electric utility company to install a new 12KV power distribution center on the premises.
Created new standards and wrote master specifications for the company, which improved efficiency by more than 10 % and reduced project completion time.
Led a team to establish electrical standards for a school district with more than 15 schools.
Designed electrical infrastructure for some of the large and complex projects and guided other engineers in the office to complete these projects.
