I have a lot to offer , including 15+ years of experience in the construction industry with operations, estimating, crew management, and contract administration. Asphalt, Concrete, and Aggregate I possess the knowledge of all three product lines. I also have a strong history in estimating, marketing, sales and billing of said operations. Excavation, soils reports, day to day operation specifications as well as managing crew employees and multiple subcontractors which performed such duties as milling, traffic control, striping, seal-coating, and traffic signal installation I regularly oversaw multiple projects at one time and have a proven record of bringing in work under estimating budget. I am actively seeking a new opportunity with a great company, relocation is not an issue. Some specific accomplishments include: Primary bidder on all hard bid street improvement projects ranging from $250k to $7 Million Charged with managing our regions highest profile projects annually. Most recent being $8.8 million consisting of 105 k Tons HMA, 700k SY of milling, striping, electric, and traffic control. Ability to continually keep projects on schedule. I continually monitor short and long term schedules and communicate with internal and external parties to ensure the project runs smoothly. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding estimated margins. I have averaged a margin increase of 2% over estimate over the last 4 years Knowledge and ability to manage subcontractors in a variety of fields. This includes milling, striping, traffic control, fencing, erosion control, electrical, etc.
I am eager to speak with you. Ive enclosed my resume for your review. I look forward to hearing from you and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Sincerely, Casey Stavish

All of these jobs started from an initial set of drawings, taken-off ( by others ), estimated and negotiated prior to construction. The construction cost range was from 150k-1.5 Million Our customer base consisted of both long term and newcomers. The above projects all consisted of ground up construction. Initial site work included site preparation, cuts / fills, over-excavation if required. The building pad preparation per soils report specs and all site concrete was within our scope followed by sub-grade preparation and asphalt or PCCP. My main role in all of these projects was to work with the owners and coordinate construction. I also was responsible for billings, change orders and following up with punch-list items. 500- 18,000 CY of material cut/ filled or imported/exported on each project All projects came in below estimate with regard to margins Managed all aspects of our scope of construction
2007 City of Aurora Overlay Program The primary role of the project was milling and overlay of various arterial, collector, and residential streets throughout the city. This particular project included several major arterial streets where traffic and general public was a main role of mine. I was in constant contact with local residents and businesses in order to ensure safety and good relations throughout the duration of the project This project was approximately $9.0 Million and lasted 180 days. I was heavily involved in the initial bid process as well as field supervision of all field operations. I was responsible for all payment applications, change orders, lien waivers, and maintaining quantity information for all subcontractors. I maintained exclusive management of the schedule and my main goal was to maintain our estimated margins. Field superintendents and crew foreman reported to me on progress and held regular meetings to ensure schedule and costs were being met. I was a daily contact between city and state officials to ensure project specifications were being met. I was also heavily involved with but not responsible for internal quality control, plant operations, trucking logistics. I successfully managed this project to 3% profit above margin and also was able to negotiate over $100k in change orders. 110k Tons HMA + Various amounts of pre-pave patching required o 35k Tons SMA Placed with Shuttle Buggy system on Arterial Streets o 50k Tons Grade S on Collector Streets o 25k Tons Grade SX in Sub-Division Streets Approx 700k SYs Milling Manage all Subcontractors o Traffic Control o Traffic Loop systems o Traffic Camera systems o Striping (Temporary and Thermoplastic) Prior projects I primarily was in charge of and held the same responsibilities as above include: 2006 City of Aurora Overlay Program $7.0 Million 2005 Douglas County Overlay Program $4.0 Million 2004 West Mineral Avenue Program $3.0 Million 2003 Greenwood Village Overlay Program $2.3 Million
