Regional Construction Director supervising 56 personnel in the strategic planning for the repair and modernization of school and administrative facilities for the 2nd largest school district in the Nation: 14,000 buildings, 80 million square feet, 1,000 locations. Currently supporting a $20B program delivering 20,000 modernization projects and 200 new schools projects.
- Integral analyst role on the executive team, secured additional $7B school bond by explaining deficiencies and requirements to voters and winning their approval of the largest school construction bond in LAUSD history.
- Directed the short-term and long-term planning efforts for defining, scoping and developing repair and renovation projects, focused enhancement program supports the LAUSD educational vision and strategic plan.
- Visionary planning and development expert, revamped LAUSDs campus master planning process, leveraged in-house and contract teams for rapid assessments, $10M program ongoing for 1,000 sites across LA.

Managed 15 military, civilian and contractor personnel in developing and implementing AFSPC policy for hazardous material response, fire protection, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), Geospatial mapping/visualization and Emergency Management (EM) programs ensured critical programs met all Air Force standards.
- Prudently directed the $22M Geospatial program and executed a $7.5M Emergency Management annual budget despite dwindling resources, fully supported 5,750 personnel at 96 locations located worldwide.
- Implemented new Emergency Response protocol, increased ability to operate w/ civilian Police & Fire Depts

Directed the actions of the Air Forces largest Public Works organization; comprised of 800+ military, US and Japanese civilian engineers/craftsmen. - Dedicated leader, prepared for 2006 Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Compliance Assessment by reviewing past performance and providing targeted training on problem areas, efforts lowered total findings
by 55%, slashed major findings by 76% and led to cultural change for all organizations involved.

Headed 172-person organization in performing all activities related to operating, maintaining, and repairing the real property of McChord AFB: 4,616 acres, 1,321 facilities, 3.3M square yards of pavements and all supporting utilities.
- Focused on customer service, increased performance to 1,400 jobs per month, overdue work fell from 268 per month to an all time low of 31 jobs per month.
- During Northwest energy crisis utilized in-house forces to strategically reduce base nighttime lighting-- impressively reduced energy consumption by 11%! Negotiated with local power company to receive 2000 compact fluorescent bulbs at no cost to base, 80% more energy efficient and saved $20K/year in utility costs.
- Commended for superior leadership during response to firefighting foam line rupture--formed recovery teams, isolated systems and took decisive action, protected the environment averting adverse publicity for the base.
