During design phases of construction, worked in conjunction with the owner to develop a product that will maintain sustainability and provide the adequate LEED requirements to meet the owners requests. Project Highlights DOA 2291 Terminal 1 Roadway Installations & Relocations (2009 to Present) Budget: $30M Currently installing four bridges as part of the McCarran Internationals ongoing improvement projects. This project consists of the installation of 2700 LF of Retaining Walls, 170 LF of MSE Wall, various utility relocations, and 4 bridges. All ranging in size 61 LF to 1,006 LF. Individual responsibilities include materials procurement, site preparation, oversight and training of site personnel, change order management, maintaining site as-builts, submittal of monthly payment applications, and the implementation/execution of safety and QA/QC Programs. LVCVA MPEP 10.0 Utility Installations & Relocations (2008 to 2009) Budget: $13.5M Assisted in the oversight of the installation of 415 LF of 12x4 RCB, 2505 LF of 6x8 RCB & 2101 LF of 54 HDPE, 6 concrete structures, and multiple bypass operations on a 15 MGD system. Included operations were, excavations of contaminated soil, asbestos abatement, maintaining traffic control to one of the busiest venues in Las Vegas during conventions, and managing safety & environmental compliance onsite. Individual responsibilities included the selection of equipment, writing purchase orders, developing submittals, overseeing creation and execution of project schedule, managing costs, maintaining on-site as-builts, and closing-out the project. Generated 15% more revenue than anticipated from project bid, due to value engineering, extensive change order management and material procurement. Cut overall job costs by value engineering and changing backfill materials and various construction methods by roughly 6%. Turnberry Towers East & West (2005 to 2008) Budget: $45M Led all phases of construction on the Turnberry Towers. Coordinated deliveries and installation of two 45 story towers, effectively managed towers to ensure project completion on schedule and on budget. Found numerous design and code issues that were able to be revised prior to our work being constructed and being placed on a critical path schedule. Assisted in the design of the pump room and the placement of all pumps and flow systems in both the basement and the roof of both towers.
