Professional Accomplishments
Successful business development activities provided projects and workload to grow and diversify a firm from a staff of four to a staff of twenty in two years.
During an eighteen month period, developed a very significant engineering client base working for ten of the top twenty architects in Knoxville, TN.
During an eighteen month period, booked over $4,000,000 of fees on new transportation projects with the Tennessee Department of Transportation and over $2,000,000 of fees on new land development projects.
Prepared the final environmental impact statement on I-440 in Nashville, Tennessee, a complex controversial seven-mile segment of urban interstate. Served as an expert witness on behalf of the State in a federal lawsuit to stop construction of I-440.
Prepared the first groundwater corrective action plan for a municipal landfill in the State of Tennessee.
Significant successes in obtaining project approvals on complex controversial projects and coordinating the political, public relations, legal, community involvement and technical components required for approval of these projects.
