I got hands on HR experience in the construction business. In my current employment I have directly deployed in the project site and I have coordinated recruitment activities from the job site. This experience enabled me to understand the nature of the business and find out the exact personnel profile that the project required. I got specific experience in marine construction, road works and bridge works activities and I have fair knowledge in mechanical engineering intensive construction fields such as chemical plants, refineries and pipelines; within the framework of recruitment activities.


Professional Experience

2008 October - .... Aramco-JDN-STFA Manifa Field Causeway Project/ STFA Marine Construction Co. / HR & Personnel Manager

Coordinating overseas recruitment activities from India, Pakistan and Philippines.
Managing Visa and governmental issues. Developed good relations with the Coast Guard who regulates the job site. Workers security check times reduced 1 hour for each day; which saved us 9500$ per day and 280000$ per month.
We have recruited more than 600 personnel in 3 months period and coordinated 1950 numbered workforce.
Electronic time and attendance system installed to the job site. With 11 punch card station we could able to inspect clock in & out times of our employees and we have ensured that we are using our workforce effectively. With this system we reduced our personnel costs by 20%.
Renegotiated with current local manpower supplier companies on the workers hourly rates. Average hourly rates reduced to 13 SAR from 17 SAR which reduced our costs by 23%.
Training programs implemented to unskilled TCN and Saudi workers and trained them as Aramco certified crane operator, rigger, work permit receiver etc.
