Projects included: MD Anderson Ambulatory Clinical Building, Houston, Texas, project cost: $390 million. The 1.5 million-square-foot state-of-the-art cancer prevention building includes the eight-story clinical building, fourth-floor surgical level, a 1,200-square-foot pedestrian bridge, three-level underground parking garage for 936 vehicles and the development of two major streets. MD Anderson Basic Research and Educational Facility in Bastrop, Texas, project cost $40 million. The 68,500 square-foot monkey research facility was a one story steel-frame structure with a metal façade and stone accents. The project included a second floor mechanical mezzanine and catwalk system. The project consisted of animal holding and cage wash areas along with offices, exam room, operating rooms, research labs and BSL three areas. Memorial Hermann Southwest Heart & Vascular Institute, project cost $34 million. The 158,000 square-foot heart and vascular project was a five story concrete structure with a precast concrete and glass fascia with a connecting bridge to the existing hospital. The project required complex infrastructure coordination of major site utilities and parking. Rice University Bio Science Research Collaborative in Houston, Texas, project cost$39 million. The 477,000 square-foot bioscience research building will be jointly occupied by researchers from Rice University and the Texas Medical Center. Services provided included programming and equipment planning. The first tenant improvement project within the building includes classrooms, laboratory and support space for Rice University and shared access to include a 280 seat auditorium, vivarium and support and administrative space. Medical Clinic of Houston Clinical Building, Houston, Texas, project cost $36 million. The 139,000 square-foot state-of-the-art patient friendly building is a red brick, six-story clinic designed to blend with the surrounding neighborhood. Expansive use of glass provides calming scenic views of historic tree-lined streets and the downtown Houston skyline. Baylor College of Medicine, Nabisco Research Facility, Houston, Texas, project cost$16 million. The 110,000 square foot facility project consisted of adaptive re-use of a former cookie factor into new lab and support facilities. Labs were developed for the departments of genetics and surgery, as well as, generic labs for future research groups. Support facilities include a freezer farm, offices and laboratory support rooms, conference rooms, loading dock and storage area.

The 375,000 square-foot fourteen-story cast in-place/post-tension concrete structure consisting of a glass and stone curtain wall shell and adjoining 800-car precast concrete and post-tension parking structure. MCI/WorldCom Regional Corporate Headquarters Campus, St. Louis, Missouri, project cost: $34.5 million. The three, three-story 119,400 square-foot structural steel structures consisted of a glass curtain wall system with a brick veneer fascia rapping around each floor and an interconnecting glass curtain wall bridge between each. The development included on-grade parking and landscaping of a twenty-three acre campus. Campbell Centre Renovation, Dallas, Texas, project Cost: $14.5 million. Demolition of the second floor interior structure to create a two-story lobby, remodeling of twenty tenant floors of mechanical and electrical systems, restrooms, two large entry canopies, landscaping of parking terrace, and exterior building lighting. Lincoln R & D Phase II, Plano, Texas, project cost: $3.8 million. The 117,160 square-foot shell office complex consisted of three, one-story tilt-wall shells buildings including on-grade parking and landscaping. International Business Park Phase X, Carrolton, Texas, project cost: $6.1 million. The 104,924 square-foot two-story tilt-wall shell office complex included the development of on-grade parking, landscaping and coordination of future utilities layout for a separate second phase structure to follow.
