Established Robertson Family Homes in 2007 due to a layoff and the downturn in the mortgage and home building industries. Since stating this company I have completed new homes for metro area banks and commercial build out projects. I have also managed and constructed home improvement projects, room additions and built decks. Oversaw the daily operations of the business by managing accounts payable and receivables, met with potential clients to discuss projects, designed layouts and completed projects for home owners.
Royce Homes, Atlanta, Georgia January 2006 March 2007 Division President
Managed the daily operations of the Atlanta division. Increased the division land position from 2 to 6 communities in 5 months. Designed new products for the 4 new communities. Recruited and trained division personnel. Increased staff from 4 to 22 personnel within 6 months. Increased our closings from 39 in 2005 to 92 in 2006. With this strong growth managed to maintain a net profit of 4.3%. Company was on track to reach over 200 closings for the year 2007.
Choice Homes, Atlanta, Georgia June 2004 October 2005 Area Manager
Managed the daily operations of the Northwest Atlanta region. Compiled the annual budgets and forecasts for 9 communities, closed 327 units for the year 2005, with estimated annual sales revenue of 45 million dollars. Resulting in a 12.6% increase over the previous years' revenue. Directed a team that consisted of a land manager, sales team, construction superintendents, and warranty technicians. Region was ranked at 98.6% customer satisfaction.
Choice Homes, Atlanta, Georgia June 2002 - January 2004 Regional Sales Manager Supervised 22 sales agents Developed training program which helped move the company sales pace from 30 sales a month to 25 sales a week Set new sales record for the region in April of 2003 when the Atlanta Division hit 113 sales for the month Developed and delivered a preferred lender program that increased closing for the month from 20 to 42+ per month.
Pulte Homes, Cary, North Carolina November 1998 - June 2002 Sales Counselor/Division Trainer Revamped the training process of all new agents which help moved the company closing from 350 to 800 in a 1.5-year period. Implemented solutions to problem communities which were not producing at company projected goals. Trained Cary Division on Building Quality Relationship for customer and contractor which improved customer satisfaction scores to over 90%
