SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
While still in college, began managing single-family rental properties. Trained new employees in marketing and leasing issues. Also provided follow-up training in the same subjects for long-time employees. Served on the committee to write, review and update the marketing and policy manuals of three major multifamily real estate firms, one with over 20,000 units in 12 states and another named in the top 50 development firms in the U.S. Responsible for creating and coordinating company-wide training and marketing events from brainstorming themes and programs to arranging for speakers, hotel reservations, meeting facilities, scheduling of events, meals and refreshments, decor, collateral materials, field trips, and communications. Responsible for marketing various multifamily for-lease portfolios that included conventional, brand new construction lease-ups, assisted, student housing and these HUD programs: D/4, 236; Section 8-elderly; and Section 8-family. Created and implemented marketing strategies including corporate outreach plans that allowed four related D-4 properties in northern Indiana and Ohio to reach and maintain an average occupancy of 94-95% for a period of three years. Designed materials for corporate and neighborhood outreach programs for student housing, tax credit, D-4 and subsidy communities.

Maintained the highest closing ratio in the Gene B. Glick Company in 1994: 56%. Responsible for annual companywide analysis of advertising dollars spent, market-ready units, vacant turn-time, sources of traffic and rentals, and other market-related measurements. Consulted, researched and wrote strategic marketing plans on a nationwide basis for various clients within the multifamily housing industry. Created, supervised and directed the positioning, setup and planning of new construction communities. Consulted with architectural teams in developing and defining the overall housing products and interior finishings for specific markets. Supervised and facilitated all creative work with advertising agencies of record for all client collateral projects. Created and monitored all aspects of property budgeting and variance reporting.
