Crew Chief involved in most aspects of survey fieldwork on various projects in the Downtown Boston area. I have used many types of instruments and technologies, some, but not all, GPS, Laser Scanners, and Robotic instruments. I have also been involved with the research necessary to perform the field work, and to assemble the information for discussion and decisions.

Charleston, S.C. was the last project in which I was involved with this company. While there was responsible for the layout of bridges and associated systems, including ,but not limited to, all caissons, abutments, drainage and decking. Prior to Charleston, was the
Survey Manager on the Logan Airport Modernization Project at Boston's Logan Airport. This project consisted of 2 miles of false work supported cast-in place structure and 2 miles of new roadways, with many miles of detours included. Prior to Logan Airport project was the Senior Crew Chief on the 1000 meter, design-build segmental bridge with false work supported cast-in-place sections on both ends. The bridge is over the Kennebec River in Bath, Me. It is supported by 100' shafts drilled 20' into bedrock and using pre-cast cofferdams.

I was the senior crew chief on several highway and bridge construction projects, throughout the state, involving field calculations of all horizontal and vertical control as well as the location of all associated systems. Also, participated in the collection of research data and some preliminary drafting, using AUTOCAD 14.

My surveying career began here. I was promoted through the ranks here while proving myself to be a quick learner. Within 13 months I had achieved the position of Crew Chief. This is when, as well as where, I was first placed in the position of being the one responsible for calculations and layout. Some of these projects include State Hwy. 151 and the widening of Loop 1604 around the city of San Antonio. I was involved in the field aspects of gathering field data for boundaries as well through traverse with sideshots and conventional level and cross-sections.
