Responsible for managing inventory and finding new, cost effective ways to boost production and effectively manage them.
Conduct safety meetings and make sure our facility meets and/or exceeds minimum OSHA safety standards for our industry. Follow up on and compile data for any recordable injuries or violations.
Make sure all labor laws are posted and enforced. Effectively deal with any Human Resources consequences as a result.
During my tenure, we increased our EBITDA from approximately $12-$14,000/month to $120-$140,000/month while decreasing prices for our customers. This was mostly accomplished by more efficient material handling, reducing labor costs, and reducing Workers Comp expenses.
Our OSHA incident rate decreased dramatically, thereby allowing a huge savings in Workers Comp expenses.
