1983 1997Construction Superintendent/ Project Manager for John A Russell Corporation, Rutland, Vermont Oversaw the total construction effort to insure that projects were constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Utilized computer programs such as Prologue, Expedition, MC2 Estimating, Word, and Excel. Management of all phases of projects to insure repeat customer satisfaction and bottom line success.
1997 1999Director of Human Resources Managed all human resource functions including staffing, training, recruiting, hiring, terminations, safety, and salary and performance reviews. Also a member of the Senior Management Team that set the overall strategic plans and vision for the company. Successfully developed a strategic plan, revised the employee/personnel handbook, and implemented employee performance evaluation reviews. Instituted NCCER craft training and mandatory 40 hour management training. Created career development for all managerial staff through the Cleaver Behavioral Assessment Evaluation Program.
1999- 2005Executive Vice- President of Operations, John A Russell Corporation, Rutland, Vermont Responsible for the day to day administration of a $40 million dollar a year general contracting business. Provides guidance and direction to all operations of the construction process. Created project turn-over meetings, project start up plan, monthly financial turn-around procedures. Oversees all estimated and negotiated construction contracts with values of 2 40 million dollars. Member of corporate executive committee responsible for all bonding, credit line and insurance risk approval. Responsible for review of performance of all commercial construction management personnel.
2005 2008Senior Project Manager, Centex Destination Properties, Mid Atlantic Division, Greenville, SC Responsible for all construction for CDP resort development projects in the northeast region, which includes contract negotiations with architects, engineers, and contractors. Currently managing a 900 unit resort project known as South Peak Resort located in Lincoln, NH. Responsibilities include planning, design, permitting, and construction of all single family lots and multi family buildings consisting of townhouses and condominium hotels.
2008-PresentDirector of Development and Construction, Terramessa Resorts, Dallas , TX Overseeing all development, design, budgeting, permitting, construction, contract management and close out of a 900 unit resort development. Responsible for updating current master plan and evaluating all future build products at South Peak Resort located in Lincoln, NH. Duties include proforma budgeting, evaluation of all future build products as it relates to cost and aesthetics. Contract administration of all consultants and contractors. Manage all existing ongoing infrastructure and building contracts.

1994 1996Northfield School District 6.5 million dollar additions and renovations to the elementary, middle, and high schools, including new classrooms, gymnasium, library, theatre, science facilities, and supervisory offices 1996 1998Solitude Village at Okemo Mountain 20 million dollar ski resort project consisting of 5 town house buildings, 6 condominium buildings, and a day lodge housing restaurants, a health spa, and indoor and outdoor pool. 1999 2005Responsible for negotiating and construction of the following types of projects: Design Build - of medical centers, auto dealership, assisted living facilities and refrigerated and freezer warehouses Construction Management of schools, offices, hotels, and resort development projects Hard Bid Contracts for schools, warehouses, theatres, restaurants, and ski and gold resort facilities 2005-PresentSouth Peak Resort Responsible for completion of the infrastructure for 68 homesites. Managed all construction contracts totaling 6 million dollars. Designed, contracted, managed, and completed 40 multi family 2 and 3 bedrooms units with associated amenities. Value of contracts exceeded 10 million dollars. Completed ahead of schedule and below budget with a construction cost savings of 5%. Updated master plan and club house amenities for a 900 unit resort development. Evaluated future build products and programming entities within the club house.
