Special Achievements While working as an Aerospace Propulsion Technician, designed and manufactured a safety adapter for transporting aircraft engines and a special tool to remove aircraft engine components. Evaluated and implemented a way to cut man hours on a maintenance procedure that was implemented throughout the Air Force. Work Force Experience:
Millwright Lead Schedule, estimate and plan work to achieve maximum productivity with minimal down time at paper mills and power generating plants. Coordinate maintenance, repairs and installation of equipment with staff and outside contractors. Control resources to meet budget and contract requirements. Weld, fabricate, rig and lift equipment for repairs and up-grades. Remove, replace and maintain valves, pumps and motor assemblies to include replacing bearings and seals. Lubricate and comply with machine PM schedules. Inspect, adjust and repair conveyor assemblies along with maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Repair and maintain equipment drive assemblies. Layout and installation of new equipment to include concrete and sole plates. Upgrade and repair process piping. Develop, schedule and perform PM programs with the ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals. Comply with OSHA, state and facility safety regulations while conducting daily safety briefings. Operate forklifts, man lifts and overhead cranes along with working in confined spaces and heights. Maintain maintenance records and oversee training programs as required. Proficient with the use of precision measuring tools, hand tools and power equipment with knowledge in general construction.
