Project Manager: Responsible for diverse projects planning and execution in the pharmaceutical and industrial sector. Services includes demolition, civil, electrical and mechanical construction, installation of electrical, mechanical and automated equipment as well as high technology manufacturing equipment, HVAC, Cooling Towers, Chillers, industrial and pharmaceutical utilities systems. Services also include contract administration of complex buildings facilities operations maintenance and management.
JOHNSON CONTROLS, INC. 2008 to 2009
Operations and Maintenance Manager: Responsible and leader for Puerto Rico and Caribbean region Facilities Management service accounts. Complete responsibility of accounts start up, development, stabilization and growth. Full interaction with customers at all levels including senior management. Regulatory and government permits management, cost control, schedule management. Supervision of two (2) contracted project engineers.
Plant Engineer, (2004 to 2006): In charge of site roofing and building envelope upgrade and improvement program as required by insurance regulations and business continuity Plan (BCP). In charge of site pest control program including audits to national and international suppliers, Key contributor to suppliers pest control related investigations. Performed facilities small capital projects execution.
Facilities Maintenance Assurer, (2003 to 2004): Responsible for maintenance of manufacturing aseptic complex facilities and building operations including budget development, contractors administration, pest control program, and office space planning and related works.
THOMAS AND BETTS CARIBE, INC 2003
Manufacturing Supervisor: Supervision of complete manufacturing operations including maintenance and quality control. Supervision of about 60 employees and 2 production coordinators in order to attain manufacturing department goals with the highest quality while reducing rejects, and equipment downtime.
LIBERTY CABLEVISION OF PUERTO RICO, INC. 2001 to 2002
Technical Operations Manager: Responsible for complete technical and warehousing operations of a digital cable system plant for 18 municipalities with a base of 60,000 customers. Directed and managed 4 customer service and technical offices with 48 technicians and 5 technical supervisors. Negotiation with 3 independent contractors companies for installations and new projects. Knowledge of FCC regulations.
AMI DODUCO (PR), INC. 1993 to 2001
Senior Process Engineer, (2000 to 2001): Key person in the optimization of the Enterprise Resources Planning system project; with direct reporting to corporate optimization team.
ERP/SAP Project Coordinator, (1998 to 1999), assigment to Export, PA, USA: Plant leader and representative at corporate level for new system implementation project. Responsible for the configuration, setup, implementation and administration of the plant ERP system.
Manufacturing Supervisor, (1993 to 1999): Supervised 60 employees in manufacturing operations and technical services support. led 5 departments team leaders including maintenance, quality control, materials, finishing and plating, press room, tool and die room, furnaces, solder flushing, brazing and coining.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT
Reduction of 21% of operations costs by means of contract analysis and renegotiations.
Achieved 70% overtime reduction as a result of manpower requirement analysis and both shifts and positions restructuring and refocusing in processes improvements.
Increased yields and reduction of line defects by improving raw materials process. Achieved a decrease in blending percentages from 15% to 5%.
Implemented a preventive maintenance program to a cable plant in order to minimize signal outages due to failing components and damaged equipment.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
