Hydro-Electric Mechanic As a Plant Mechanic I am responsible for performing installation, modification, maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment at a hydroelectric power project which consists of a powerhouse, dam, and related works. Operates various machine shop equipment, such as lathes, drill, presses, bench grinders, hydraulic presses, pipe threaders, and various air or electric portable tools such as drills, grinders, impact wrenches, brazing/welding/cutting torch, plasma arc, and electric arc welders to rework or build new parts.
