Objective
My objective is to bring forth my experiences and abilities to a forward thinking and progressive Mechanical Contractor. I would enjoy working for a company that would challenge me and allow me to better the company thru my many project management areas of expertise. My previous experience has taught me to be fair with manpower and the customer and in turn the business will progress and prosper. This is all possible by building customer relations with the owner, contractors, safety coordinators, and the construction manager.

Design Assistance
●Design assist, implement and project manage the installation of mechanical systems for MAGNA Entertainment Corporation at the Gulfstream Park horse racing facility.
●Assisted the owner of a proposed Marriott Resort and Convention Center with the review of the mechanical systems and helped in cost cutting measures. With my input and assistance, the company I was working for at the time was successful in acquiring this multi-million dollar project.
●Propose, design and install an HVAC system for a computer main frame area located within American Electric Powers main building. The system was efficient and cooled the room properly.
●To be part of a hospital project from dirt to doctors. This includes being well versed in all the mechanical systems that include Medical Gasses, HVAC, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Piping and Medical Appliances.

Bechtel Corporation, LG&E Trimble County Generating Station 2, Kentucky 2009 to Present Punch List Project Coordinator
With my previous experience in construction, I was hired at Bechtel Corporation. Senior Management noticed that I had experience, potential and desire to take on more responsibilities. Within three weeks I was relocated to the main office and was given the task of designing a system that would track and complete punch list items. I worked with senior management, engineers, project superintendents, and foremen of all disciplines to complete punch list items. This new position required going into the new power plant, requesting Lock Out Tag Out, writing Work Authorizations for systems already turned over to start up, and checking on the jobs that need to be completed on time. Through my construction knowledge, persuasive nature, the desire to complete these outstanding items, I had great success in acquiring approval and closure of the punch list items.

Sr. Project Manager
I was hired at Moffitt Mechanical as a Senior Project Manager because of my many years of experience and ability to manage difficult projects. My knowledge of Plumbing, HVAC, Medical Gas and Sheet Metal has been valuable to Moffitt Mechanical and has allowed me to be part of a larger outlook for this company. The other project managers and I work together to get project issues and questions solved due to my extensive experience in all types of mechanical and electrical systems. The estimating department and I are working together on new projects and estimating change orders on current projects.

As a Senior Project Manager with years of experience, I was given projects that were more aggressive and difficult than most. This required advanced planning and a team of project managers that were assigned to complete their specified parts of this large project on schedule. I also worked with and coordinated projects with the Fire Protection Division.

Interacting with the other inter-company assigned project managers on the larger projects, has allowed these projects that could have been losers, turn around and be profitable.
The skills I have acquired over many years in the mechanical business, have taught me to listens to other good ideas and to be a person who will take responsibility for those decisions.
Ability to listen to the estimators when a project is turned over for me to build. Accept what they have estimated and look at ways to improve on the take-off to save money and time.

I was given the opportunity to project managing two high profile projects in the Columbus, Ohio area as a senior project manager. Both of these projects demanded extra time on my part. The effort that these two multi-million dollar projects required, helped my personal growth and the growth of the companys bank account.
Ability to finalize and receive payment for projects that were not completed by former project managers. This includes review of where the projects were and the problems that were involved.
Past experiences and knowledge of mechanical systems allowed me to step into an existing project and complete the project.
Larger hospital projects became my specialty since I had done a lot of hospital work in the past. With the proper management and workforce, these projects became profitable.

The jobs in the special projects division are usually less than 100K, but require a vast knowledge of all types of mechanical systems. This position enabled me to develop my speed in getting a project done quickly. Quality, along with speed, saved the company money and gave the customer a project completed on schedule with good craftsmanship.
Developed better communications between the owner/customer and the company I worked for. By showing true interest in the owners finished project.
Hospital projects became my specialty while I worked with Limbach Company. They were many and varied from medical gas, plumbing, HVAC systems, and sheet metal projects. The margins on these projects were higher and provided the company with additional moneys.

My experience in working with metal buildings and architectural metal, from the old school, carried over to this contractor and gave them the ability to go into another part of the sheet metal contracting business.

Starting with this company with some previous mechanical contracting experience, I first became a mechanic installing residential systems. My work also included the servicing of these systems. As my experience grew, the company moved me into the estimator position, then to the general manager position and then to the Vice-Presidents position. These positions were not just given to me; they took hard work and dedication to achieve these goals.
My experience allowed me to be more involved with the industrial part of the mechanical contracting business. The industrial part of the mechanical contracting business is different and gives you knowledge and experience that you might not get from other mechanical contractors.
The skills and knowledge that I acquired along the way was due to older and more experienced people taking me under their wing and showing me. These people showed me that speed, quality and pride in ones work, is what made the customer come back.
